Book your stay today and experience all that Bolivar and Harpers Ferry has to offer! Important Notes About My Home
This is a clean, well-maintained 65-year-old home in historic Bolivar, WV — not a brand-new, sealed hotel environment.
Due to its age and location, you may occasionally see a harmless spider or small insect. These are rare but possible and are clearly disclosed in advance.
This home allows pets, which means even after thorough cleaning, it’s possible a single hair from a previous guest’s pet may be found. This is normal in any pet-friendly property.
If you have severe arachnophobia or expect the home to be 100% free of any natural elements, this may not be the right property for you.
The house has older windows and doors, so small drafts or signs of normal wear (such as caulking in the kitchen or orignal bathroom) are part of its character and not cleanliness issues.
We clean thoroughly between guests — however, this is a real home cleaned by humans, not a lab or showroom.
By booking, you acknowledge and accept these conditions. If you are looking for a sealed, insect-free, brand-new property, we recommend booking a modern hotel instead.

Great stay! Lots of food options within a short drive. The enclosed yard was perfect for our dog. Hot tub heated from 85 in less than an hour. We would definitely stay here again!!!
Absolutely beautiful home! We had everything we needed, and the owner was very quick to respond to any issues we had. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rebook in the future.
Excellent stay. I read the reviews and was slightly skeptical about all being 10/10. It was only upon reaching there and checking out the property in person is when I realized why. Hot tub, sauna, massage chair, TVs, kitchen amenities, clean bathrooms, and convenient location; are all the highlights of the property. And Raisa is very responsive. Would love to visit again.
We stayed with our dogs for 5 days. The house was very comfortable and clean, and in a quiet, walkable location. It had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Harpers Ferry is a great little town. Our host answered our questions so quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and massage chair too- perfect for after-hike self-care! Convenient location to grocery stores and a 7-11. The fenced-in yard was perfect and our host even provided pooper scoopers! Definitely would return if we needed a place to stay in this location again.

Thank you for the lovely review! I’m so glad you enjoyed the house, the fenced yard for the dogs, and the hot tub and sauna after your hikes. Guests like you really make my job enjoyable as a host, and I’d be happy to host you again anytime.
Cozy home near to all the area activities and close enough to walk downtown. The backyard is a lovely space with a nice sitting area. Our family was very comfortable during our trip to Harper's Ferry
This was a perfect place for us for our long weekend of hiking. Within a couple miles of two major trailheads, it was easy to get around without driving/parking. The house was comfortable and as advertised. We really enjoyed our visits to Snallygaster’s, The Barn, and Bolivar Bread (all within walking distance) and Harpers Ferry Brewing (a short drive). Overall a great trip and a great stay for us.
The house is in a quiet area but very close to a lot of activities. It was an easy walk to the Bolivar Heights Battlefield site, and to other Harpers Ferry National Historical Park interest areas. Everything was well appointed. We very much enjoyed use of the hot tub. The host was very communicative. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves.
It is always good when a rental meets our expectations. However, it is great when expectations are surpassed! There was plenty of space to be together and separate for our family of four and the pups. The backyard was perfect! The massage chair was a welcomed surprise. We all loved the robes as the temperature dropped from a high of 72 when we arrived to a low of 29 our last night. Thank you for everything! This rental was very thoughfully put together.

Thank you for the wonderful review! I’m so glad your family (and pups!) enjoyed the space. You’re welcome back anytime.
Immaculate property stocked with everything you might need. Dogs LOVED the fenced yard. Owner was very responsive to questions but otherwise totally respected our privacy.
First time visiting Harpers Ferry, WV. This little house was close to Harpers Ferry National Park, the visitor center, lower town, Bolivar Heights Battlefield and Bolivar Bread Bakery ☺ The house is not large but was adequate for a weekend for 4 adults and one 10lb dog. It was clean and the AC worked. We had no issues.
