Delight on the Dock at the Edgewater Inn on Lake Hartwell

Welcome to the Edgewater Inn on Lake Hartwell. This cozy two-story cottage boasts a relaxed setting with its own private dock. Step inside this lakefront home and immediately notice impressive views of Lake Hartwell. Enjoy main level living spaces that connect with the outdoor patio space where you can enjoy sunset views. While one queen sized bedroom plus bathroom is enjoyed on the main level, two bedrooms and one bathroom are peacefully located upstairs. Enjoy boating, swimming or sunbathing.
The space
Interior living: Has ample room for a family to relax with two couches and a swivel chair. The television is a smart tv.

Kitchen and eating: The kitchen is equipped with all you might need to cook and serve. From a coffee pot to glassware, it’s all there.
The seating easily seats 8-10 between the dining room table and bar height table.

Bedrooms: One queen bedroom downstairs (bathroom downstairs as well). One king room upstairs that boasts lake views with a Keurig coffee pot and a gorgeous balcony. A second bedroom upstairs offers a queen bed and two twins (one trundle). The queen downstairs and king upstairs both have smart TVs.

Bathrooms: Two bathrooms both with walk in showers. One downstairs, one upstairs.

Outside/lake: We have a huge private dock in a little cove that is right next to big water. If you are looking out the house windows…we are the second dock…. It has a green roof. It is towards the tip of the peninsula which has amazing sunset views. The water depth is deep…we never need to chase water even when the lake is at its lowest. The water depth where you would park a boat is 9-18 feet deep (depending on time of year). We have caught many fish off the dock!

For boaters: There are a couple boat ramps within 5-10 minutes of the house. Make sure to check local lake regulations for any fee for usage or closures.
- Richland Creek Boat Ramp. This is at the tip of Richland Creek road off of the main Providence Church road that runs through the community.
- Jarrett Access Area Ramp. This is at the tip of Sunset Lane. Also, off of the main Providence Church Road through the community.
Once you have launched your boat, feel free to use our dock for storage during your stay. Furthermore, our front yard allows for parking your trailer up to about 45 feet. If you are a competition fisherman and want to keep your boat hooked up, you can easily park at a diagonal and fit (we also have outside electrical on the house you can plug into.) Please be mindful of the adjacent neighbors…you cannot park on or in front of their properties.

The outside patio seats 8. It has a charcoal grill. We keep charcoal around along with lighter fluid.

Entertainment, games & lake toys:
- Peddle boat, lounge rafts, water hammock and an inflatable canoe for two.
- Cornhole and Tiki Toss
- Board games

Pets: we love animals but also know animals can be disruptive and damage things when they are not in their comfy place. We allow 1-2 pets depending on the size. 1 pet any size or 2 under 40 lbs each. No cats. We do have an enclosed (fenced) yard and patio for your pets to roam.

Extra: We love this home so much and personally use it when guests are not, please love it and use it as your own.
Guest access
You have access to the entire home with the exception of one closet. No garage access.

There is a broken down golf cart that is unusable to guests (and owners, LOL.) Only our dock is permitted for use by our guests.
