The perfect place if you are looking for quite place to stay. It is a good location if you’re wanting to hike or be on the river. Planning on another tip this fall
I recently stayed at this property and found it to be a fantastic choice for anyone looking to explore the Ozarks. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the Cliff House Inn Restaurant with its stunning views of the Arkansas Grand Canyon. It's also conveniently close to canoe rentals and the Buffalo River, as well as downtown Jasper with its variety of dining options. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, I highly recommend this property for its great location and amenities

Thank you so much for being our first Renter and are glad you enjoyed your stay ! We hope to have you back soon. We will continue to add amenities to make stays extra special.
The location was beautiful and the outdoor spaces were private. Driveway is difficult to find at night and very steep but our truck did not have any trouble navigating it and the GPS took us right to the cabin. The common space (living and kitchen) are very tight and small but the kitchen is workable given its tight size. I cooked a full meal for our family of 5 in the kitchen with no issues. We did encounter a total of 5 roaches inside during our two nights there (3 in bathrooms, 2 in kitchen) but we killed them and did not have any issues with any other pests or rodents. Otherwise It was very clean inside and out and they were in the process of making some upgrades outside to the deck and covering. The one suggestion I would have would be to have a grill or some way to cook outside besides the fire pit. The set up inside works well for a family or even two couples. There are two bedrooms each with a queen bed and their own bathrooms. One of the two bedrooms does not have a door on it at all but it was not an issue for us. Communication with the owner was superb. We ate in Jasper at the Jasper Pizza Co which is highly recommend. It was absolutely delicious and the price is great. We also ate at the Ozark cafe which was great food too. Went to Ponca early both mornings over the weekend and was able to see lots of Elk. If you are considering visiting Jasper, Kingston, or Ponca this cabin has a great location. Less than 10 minutes from downtown Jasper and 35-40 to Ponca
For our son's college spring break, we wanted to visit Arkansas and canoe the Buffalo River. Anywhere we go, we ALWAYS get something with a hot tub. I put in the filter for hot tub and this property came up so we secured it. When we got there, not only was there not a hot tub but there were roaches and on our second day we came home to no water and had to be without water for 24 hours. I thought the hosts would reimburse us for at least part of the stay, not only for false advertising that there was a hot tub but also due to the fact that there were roaches AND that we were without water for 24 hours, but NO!! Unacceptable and unsatisfactory customer service!!! Plus it is out in the booneys so we had no cell coverage AND the nearest store was 25 minutes away so after a long day on the river, you don't really want to be driving to buy water!!! Very poor business strategy!! When you pay good money for a vacation you are hoping to be all that you dreamed, you definitely are not expecting roaches, no hot tub and no water for any amount of time. I am sad that the hosts did not want to accomodate us in any way. Bad business!!

Subject: Response to Your Concerns Regarding Your Recent Stay
Dear Susan,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding your recent stay at our cabin. I'm truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide a positive and comfortable environment for our guests, and I want to address your concerns directly.
First, I understand how frustrating it must have been to expect a hot tub based on the listing, although you admitted to me that as you further looked at information you saw that it listed a jetted tub. The listing has since been updated to avoid any future confusion, and I do apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
In regard to your concern about pests, I want to clarify that the property is professionally treated on a regular schedule, and there have been NO reports or evidence of any roaches from any of our renters, before or after your stay. Although it is a Cabin in the woods, I understand how unpleasant it is to encounter any pests, and I regret that this impacted your visit.
As for the water issue, the outage was due to a city water main break that affected multiple properties in the area. While this was entirely outside our control, we do empathize with the discomfort and inconvenience it caused.
I’m sorry you felt the property was in the “booneys”. It is across the street from the Cliff House Inn and the Arkansas Grand Canyon and is in a beautiful location and close to town.
Our past renters have said many great things about our property and its location. We have had NO past complaints.
We understand and regret that your experience fell short of expectations. However, given the circumstances—particularly that some issues were outside of our control and the property is properly maintained—we decided to not offer a reimbursement. We do, however, appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving our guest experience.
Thank you
