Great location! Sleeps 8 with comfortable beds and a game room!

Each bedroom is equipped with a pillow top or memory foam mattress, extra bedding and sound machines for a great nights sleep. The game room is the perfect hang out spot with foosball, air hockey, board games and cards. Don't stress about running straight to the store when you arrive, we have coffee and tea for the morning. Each bathroom has two toilet paper rolls, mini shampoo and conditioner and face wipes. Our home is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants and the freeway. Plus, WMU is right around the corner.

We had a good stay for our purposes. We were there for my son's graduation weekend and the location and accommodations worked well for us. Sheena was very responsive and quick with communication.

Great Family Vacation

We booked this property for 2 weeks in July as we were visiting family in the area. Host was super friendly to work with and was super accommodating to ensure our stay was wonderful. Great location with so many things near by!! Lots of sleeping options for accommodating kids and fantastic little game room, which proved to be a hit!

We stayed here for WMU Family Weekend and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The location is excellent — only a 10-minute drive to the main campus, and with a D & W just down the street, it was easy to grab ice and snacks for the game.The driveway comes right off Parkview Ave, but the traffic light at the end made turning left and following directions super easy — a big plus we didn’t expect!Inside, the house is charming and thoughtfully decorated. You can tell the owners put a lot of care and detail into making it a cozy, comfortable space. Everyone slept great (mattresses are nice and firm), and it was the perfect home base for Family Weekend.Thanks, Sheena, for a wonderful stay!

Clean and comfortable stay. Good bathroom and shower. Comfortable beds. Kitchen is well stocked with basics. Great TV. We played the ring toss horseshoe game on the porch and had a lovely afternoon. The directions were very clear, so no trouble finding the property. The only tricky bit is parking. Since the property is on a busy street, I highly recommend turning around in the driveway to leave facing forwards.

Good location. Kitchen was well equipped. Two bedrooms on main floor and two beds in basement. Main sitting area was comfortable and clean. Bathroom needed some attention with cleanliness. Large front porch would be perfect on a nice day.

Exactly what we needed

The house was very clean, was well stocked on anything we needed! We especially appreciated the shampoo/conditioner, plenty of towels and washcloths, and the coffee! The beds were super comfy!

A delightful cottage!

We were delighted with the cottage! It had all the amenities we needed and then some. The kids loved the game room. The living room was spacious. We were initially concerned about not enough hand towels and, after mentioning it to the owner, we had towels delivered in the morning. Excellent communications and service. The location was ideal for general Kalamazoo (2 blocks from Kazoo Books!) and just around the corner from my son's place, whom we were visiting. Would highly recommend it!

Fun family WMU Weekend

Our son graduated from Western Michigan this weekend and we wanted a house where the whole family could stay together. The kids enjoyed the game room and we played some cards at the table. The guys watched the draft on TV and my husband was able to set up his exercise equipment in the basement. We use the ironing board to get my son‘s gown ready for graduation and we were able to eat family meals together at the house, which saved us time and money. It was way better than a hotel! I loved the way it was decorated and the adorable front porch.

We were so impressed and grateful to call the Eddy HOME for our 5 day stay. We had excellent guidance from host with regards to parking and accessing busy street so we knew what to expect. Kitchen was small but perfect for us. Large clean fridge. Well stocked w basic supplies & had everything we needed to prepare family meals. Wonderful beds all around w areas for us to step away in other areas of the house for private conversations. Game room doubled as quiet office for bro who had to work remote. Loved all the extension accesses for many that had to charge phones. The electric fireplace provided quiet Home Ambiance. Extra folding chairs in closet made comfortable seating when having visitors. The front sitting porch was so inviting. Street was busy but not loud and well blocked by trees and fence. Host was very responsive, kind and quick to problem solve. Would LOVE to stay again.

The Eddy did not disappoint!

We traveled to Kalamazoo for our niece’s high school graduation party. The Eddy was so clean, thoughtfully decorated and conveniently located. Sheena was an amazing host. Due to a small issue with checking in, she had a care package delivered for the group. Totally unexpected but appreciated!!

In town for Soccer Tournament

What a well appointed, comfortable home. Lots of space to spread out. The children loved the game room, especially the air hockey table. Beds were comfortable, home was incredibly clean and location was close to everything. Lots of small touches that make a big difference...fans, paper plates, ice cubes, lamps with charging plugs, various pillow options and for those with little ones: pack and play, infant bath seat, high chair. Sheena was very responsive and helpful with suggestions for restaurants, coffee spots, etc. We were so pleased with our stay. Would definitely rent again for our next visit to Kalamazoo.

This property was absolutely PERFECT. We had six, five adults and one toddler. The basement area was great for the toddler to run around and have her own space with her parents. The kitchen was great! All of the appliances were spotless and functioned as they should. The laundry room was fully kitted. The game room had a wonderful variety - air hockey, foosball, board games, and room for everyone. The yard is fenced in, so little kids can run around safely. The rooms are all large and I didn't feel like I was crunched anywhere or had to scooch. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the living and dining areas, the game room, and outdoors. The basement room had two big beds, a small seating area, and the exercise equipment - no musty smells. All of the beds & furniture were super comfortable. The rooms were well-lit and had nice options for lighting. The main bathroom is large with a great shower and tub. This little house is very well-appointed and has great natural light. The decor is nicely done and calming. Everyone could have their privacy when needed. We had a hectic weekend and had decided to make this our family sanctuary. It was just that - perfect. The neighborhood is quiet. Sheena was lovely, helpful, responded quickly, and very nice. We've told our family that they should recommend this Vrbo to any people they have visiting. When we broke it down, the price was very reasonable. We loved it.

Comfortable home with great location

We had family in from out of town and we put them up here. They enjoyed having their own space and could spread out easily in the home and basement. They also told is about deer that they would see in the morning in the front yard! Getting in and out of the driveway was a little tricky the first time, but the host was gracious enough to give us a heads up before arrival so it wasn’t a surprise. Overall, it was a wonderful place for my guests and they enjoyed hanging out there in the evenings!

This house is very special to me as it was my grandpa's, then my dad's, and now mine. I love that it is centrally located and right across from one of my favorite restaurants, Martell's!
