Eagle Lake Kalamazoo, Mattawan - Lake Livin'

Welcome to beautiful Eagle Lake in Kalamazoo, MI! This lake is a roughly 300 acre - wake lake with public boat access, multiple sandbars, refreshing water, and tons of fun!

This home is 2,000 sf and sits on 40 ft of lake frontage. The home has an open floor plan designed to accommodate 8 comfortably. The main floor opens into the kitchen and living room with views of the lake.
The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, barware, utensils etc. There is also a laundry room and half bath on the main floor. The living room has a couch and two oversized chairs as well as a flat panel smart TV and fireplace.

Upstairs includes the master bedroom (queen bed), an outside deck with lake views, and a new, beautiful master bath. The master bedroom has a flat panel smart TV as well.

In addition to the master, there are three additional bedrooms (2 queen bedrooms and one bunk bedroom). A pack n' play is available if needed. Linens, blankets, towels, and pillows are supplied. There is free wifi and cable.

There is a gas grill on the patio. There is also a shared half-acre of green-space behind the garage that has a swing set and fire pit.

This home has a large driveway that can fit 6 cars with additional parking on the back property. There are yard games, water toys, and flotation rafts. There are 2 adult kayaks, 2 kid kayaks/paddle boards, and a paddleboard. This lake is public so you may bring a boat and dock it at the house. Perfect place for boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and RELAXING.

The yard and landscape are new in 2021, new concrete patio, fire pit, furniture etc. In 2018-2020, Eagle Lake had record rainfall and flooded.

Once you are on the dock, the water at the shoreline is around 2 ft deep. It is a sandy bottom. At the end of the dock, it is roughly 5-6ft deep. The dock has a ladder. There is also a swimming raft that is anchored about 20 feet from the dock.

Lastly, a pontoon boat is available to rent if need be. $200 per day.

During the winter months, the dock and the outside furniture are stored. Upon request and weather-dependent, we can provide the outside propane firepit. There is also a burn pit on the back property for wood fires.

No animals allowed.

The home is about 5 miles away from Texas Corners which has shopping, restaurants/bars, bike trails, and a farmers market.
45 minutes away from Lake Michigan. 2 hours from Chicago.
