The beach is right outside your front door and boasts white sand along a 1 mile stretch of beach. Home to boogie boarders, surfers, beach goers, sun bathers and the like, Avila Beach boasts some of the best weather in the State of California.

Our wall of glass opens up and lets the ocean come into your living room.

We have shops, wine tasting, restaurants, 18 hole championship golf, marine center, spas that are all within walking distance of your house.

Other area activities are over 200 wineries, 7 golf courses, deep sea fishing, ATV riding over sand dunes, Hearst Castle, Morro Bay fishing Village, San Luis Obispo shops and restaurants, Cambria, Live Theatre, Movies, etc.

This was our second stay at the property and we enjoyed it as much as we did on our first. We did have to call a property manager, and they responded quickly and, more importantly, cheerfully. It's a great place.

Wonderful property!

We have stayed here two years in a row. The location is ideal, the house is well-equipped with beach towels and toys. The roof space is amazing with fire pit, grill, fridge, corn hole and a view that cannot be beat.

The best way to enjoy Avila Beach

If you are considering visiting Avila Beach, here's why you should - it is a great beach with accessible restaurants and wineries. The only reason you wouldn't is if you are not interested in a small town.If you visit Avila Beach with a larger group, you should stay here. We have stayed in three different beachfront places, and while all are great, this home is the biggest with the best parking. No downsides. The only reason not to stay beachfront is if you hate noise - the units are above stores/restaurants and there is often live music being played. We consider that a plus, but I am sure some travelers would prefer quiet. That said, this is Avila Beach not Miami Beach - the beach clears out around dinner time and the restaurants close at 9pm.

Fabulous Stay

The property was just lovely and the location was ideal: steps from the beach with great views, close to restaurants and in the midst of a fun, bustling scene. We loved people watching on the beach and enjoying the happy diners at the restaurants below our second floor deck. The rooftop space was amazing (f windy during the stay) and we can't wait to come back again.

Paradise on the central coast!

The views cannot be beat and we lucked out with gorgeous weather for our stay. While there were a couple of minor issues (a leak from neighboring restaurant and disposal that didn’t work), the hosts were extremely fast in fixing the issues and making sure our stay was perfect. We hope to come back someday!

This house is awesome!

We loved our stay here. The rooftop deck is the best. Lots of fun hours spent up there and down in the basement with the games and great tv. Will definitely come again!

Perfect location

Avila Beach and this villa were a perfect duo. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The amenities at the villa the lovely beach views and great walking areas made it hard to leave. Plan to come back.

Gorgeous location!

Great location & roof deck can’t be beat! Parking under unit (important bc Avila is crowded!!). We had a great Mother’s Day weekend w 7 ladies representing 3 generations. Dishwasher seemed to be struggling as we had to run a load through twice to clean. Because we had a couple older ladies (75yrs plus) the elevator was nice. Overall lovely property although many dishes (plates, bowls, coffee mugs & serving platters etc) are chipped & could be replaced.

Perfect place to enjoy Avila beach

This place is perfect to enjoy the ocean views and everything Avila has to offer. We loved the the open windows on the main flow and the views from the rooftop are amazing. The house is very cozy. I would definitely return!

Some of our favorite things to do is travel and meet new people. We are happy to share our beach residence with you as I know it will be an unforgetable experience for you.

We have been in San Luis Obispo for over 30 years and the area has many great leisure activities, outdoor activities and incredible weather. Avila Beach is home to 300 days of sunshine a year. When Santa Barbara and Pismo Beach are socked in with fog, Avila Beach is sunny most days...

Great Beach, restaurants, shopping, wine tasting, excellent leisure, sports activities, great weather, vibrant wildlife activity, 18 golf courses(one within walking distance of your rental), Hearst Castle, deep sea fishing, kayaking, tennis, ATV over the sand dunes, horseback riding, shopping, Avila Beach Market(Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm- may-Sept) vendors line up on the beach promenade with food, music, gifts right outside your rental. It is a scene from a movie(April-Sept)
