Charming house in great condition: Both bathrooms, the kitchen and all 3 bedrooms remodeled. It sleeps 6 guests: Master Bedroom with QUEEN bed, 2nd Bedroom with FULL/DOUBLE bed, and small 3rd Bedroom with FULL/DOUBLE bed.

- We had a lovely time at the "Urban Cottage" during our time in Oakland! The home was clean, full of light, and centrally located to the activities we had planned in the Rockridge area. Our plans kept us out the home most of the weekend, but our family particularly enjoyed sitting on back porch and hearing all the different birds singing. It was very peaceful and relaxing, plus our boys got to bounce around in the trampoline, which they loved. Sarah provided us with excellent information about the area, went out of her way to leave breakfast staples and other snacks for us, and kept in touch during our stay. She was also flexible regarding our travel plans, which we truly appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Sarah's place is a very lovely and beautiful decorated home. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen and the two bathrooms were recently renovated and very comfortable. We definitely had enough space and spent a great time there. The neighborhood was also very nice, it was very calm and seemed to be a good residential area. Sarah has prepared us a list of everything you could possibly need , but the well-stocked grocery store just around the corner was perfectly adequate. It needed only half an hour by car going to SF Downtown.

We loved our stay at Sarah's house! She left us with breakfast treats and a bottle of wine that we enjoyed in the evenings, along with a great list of amenities in the area that we explored with gusto. The house is very comfortable, with tons of natural light, and it is easy to feel at home right away. Every time we had a question we found the answer to it in the notes Sarah had left us. Highly recommended for visitors to the east bay!

Our host Sarah was fantastic. She was very responsive and shared a ton of information with us prior to our arrival and again provided information once we arrived at her home ... and it was spotlessly clean. She also left us wine and some snacks for my children which was much appreciated after a long day of travel! Sarah was particularly attentive to needs of our children and left out toys for my young son. She also made it very simple to pack up and go. We only had to pack up and lock and the door. I would highly recommend staying at Sarah's beautiful home and we look forward to going back there again one day soon.

Sarah was unfailingly responsive, hospitable, and gracious in our communication leading up to our visit, as well as during and after. Her home is a gem--one of those homes in which you can instantly understand the care, thoughtfulness, and taste that she's invested in the home. The house worked wonderfully with our two small kids, the neighborhood is lovely, and the location is quite convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and all the fun that the east bay has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sarah's home to our friends and family!

Two parents, two small children, an occasional aunt and uncle -- and yet peace reigned in Sarah's lovely home. Adults relaxed in the beautiful garden, children played happily, and everyone appreciated the many birds and butterflies that frequent the garden. We were comfortable and happy, enjoying the great calm and the centrality of Sarah's home. Sarah was responsive and kind, and went out of her way to be sure we had everything we might need. We would highly recommend her home.

Sarah is a great communicator and was responsive and very easy to work with when making arrangements. She accommodated our arrival time and really was completely friendly and accommodating in all interactions. My husband, son, and I were in the bay area to celebrate our daughter's graduation from college. We had another family member meeting us from the Sierra foothills and the house was perfect for the four of us. We had a lovely place to relax with family between graduation activities and a lovely house to eat a celebratory dinner with my daughter. Sarah responded to several email inquiries regarding local bakeries before our arrival so I could order a cake and gave me great advice on local stores where I could pick up high-quality, ready-made food. The house is comfortable and filled with light. I LOVED the light-filled rooms and privacy of the yard. The large dining room table was perfect for our needs, whether it was just two of us in the morning enjoying coffee and tea or the family together eating a meal ...The beds in all the rooms were really comfy....I actually got a good night's sleep and I don't often sleep well when "on the road." I wish [VRBO] would have been around when we were traveling with our children when they were younger. This is the PERFECT house for anyone traveling with young children. And the four of us who stayed there - including the teen, enjoyed it very much. Thanks Sarah!!!

A beautiful home, perfect for a week-long stay in the Bay area, convenient to many major highways, yet tucked away in a quaint neighborhood. Sarah's home is wonderfully appointed. She is a generous, helpful, and unobtrusive host, and we so enjoyed viewing the flowers and smelling the honeysuckle.
