Honeycutt Haven is the perfect destination for your family's coastal vacation. This custom-built home, new in 2006, features an open kitchen/dining room/living room floor plan. The downstairs has cypress hardwood flooring and a vaulted beamed ceiling. The well-appointed kitchen has a large center island and stainless steel appliances. This home has two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms on the second floor. Your children will love the second TV/living area upstairs. Honeycutt Haven is adjacent to a quiet side street perfect for jogging, riding bikes, or pushing strollers. Best of all, it's less than 100 feet to the beach access!


Topsail Island is a 26 mile barrier island located off the coast of North Carolina approximately forty miles north of Wilmington.
The beach is wide, clean, and never crowded. Your family can enjoy swimming, body surfing, or boogie boarding in the warm water. You may want to stroll the beach in search of shells or sea glass, or just relax under your umbrella with a good book.

Absolutely wonderful vacation in North Topsail. My wife and two adult children spent a week in July (2025) at this beautiful home. The home was immaculate, incredibly comfortable and a 2 min walk from the beach. We were extremely pleased with the support we received from Amy, the host, as she was quick to respond to our Vrbo messages, before and during our stay. We look forward to spending future summer getaways at this home. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house inside and out. Loved the fact that we were so close to the beach. We could see the beach from our house. The interior of the house was very unique , lots of personality. Our new home away from home!

Fabulous spacious house within walking distance to a gorgeous beach! There is just enough room to spread out and have moments to yourself to enjoy the view of the ocean. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the beds were super comfortable. The house also has a special hidden gem for children, and adults alike; I won’t give up the secret on my review but it was a lovely surprise! The host Amy is very kind, responds quickly & genuinely cares about her guests. We are already making plans to come back soon!

Great property, awesome location steps from the water.

We had a great trip to NTB over the 4th of July week. Our trip was to start looking for a vacation property in the area. We lived the house, and the area. As a vacation rental the property is well stocked with all the necessities. The proximity to the beach was great, and the ability to come back and forth as you please with little effort was great. We enjoyed the house so much we took a lot of pictures and decided it's the perfect layout for what we want in a vacation property. There isn't anything we would change about the trip, or our experience. We loved the house. We would definitely return.

Best Waves!

We had 5 adults and 5 kids (ages 1 to 10). House was actually pretty quiet even with all the running and loud kids. Plenty of space too! The secret room was so much fun:) The kitchen was well-stocked and my husband was thrilled with the grill tool kit. While not on the beach we only had to walk past 2 houses to get to it, so no issue for us. We spent every day on the beach playing in waves and tidal pools. Close enough to grocery and other activities, though we really did not do anything but play on beach.

Not enough words to describe how great Amy and property is!

This was the first time in our 20+ years stay at Topsail that we got a house and so glad we found Honeycutt Haven! This is going to be our go to vacation house for many years to come. The house is just perfect, has everything you need for preparing meals and just relaxing. The bedrooms are a great size and there is even a little hideaway one for “little” guests! Having 3 full bathrooms AND an outdoor shower were another huge perk. The covered driveway was perfect for us to play our corn hole games after a day on the beach, glad we brought it! Sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered deck was just so relaxing too, you have a perfect ocean view from the deck. The walk to the beach access is so close to the house. Communication with Amy was off the charts! Any time I had a question she responded within an hour, that is just fantastic! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, can’t wait to book for next year!!!

Fantastic hosts and home

If I was a selfish person I would not be honest with this review in order to keep this gem a secret. Amy and Ben are wonderful hosts. Very quick to respond to communications. The pictures of the home are 100% accurate. It is so beautiful and the cleaners left it sparkling clean. The entire family agreed that we would love to come back to this house again and again.
