This property was close to all places that visited and the neighborhood was quiet and easily accessible from route 169. I strongly recommend this place.
This is a cute older home full of light and beautifully decorated. It is close to everything in Smithville. Twenty minutes to airport or downtown, 30 minutes from plaza. Nicely appointed and spotless. Love the covered front porch with swing. Great place to chat and have coffee.
This house is in a great location close to the square as well as the lake. Instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. House was immaculate with super cute decor! Coffee was also a plus because we really needed it! Will stay here again and again if they'll have us!
We had to rent this property last minute due to traveling from out of state for a funeral, and we are so grateful we found it. Check-in was seamless, and the property manager was very responsive, making the process stress-free. The house was cozy and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful attention to detail that made it feel like a home away from home. We especially appreciated the coffee and creamers provided—it was such a nice touch during a difficult time. Overall, a great stay, and we would absolutely return under different circumstances. Highly recommend!
We stay at this property for 2 nights during my daughter’s move to Smithville. We only stayed in the house to sleep and shower.
It is as represented. A older home that has been
remodel with charming taste and character. .
Vanessa was wonderful to work with and had great communication with us . We had to change and rearrange our dates of our stay. And she was very pleasant and accommodating
I would recommend staying here again.
This house looked exactly how it did in the listing. Very cute, very clean, very well stocked with items we would need. The communication with the property manager was quick and easy. The only “complaint” (and I use that word loosely) is that the bathroom barn doors didn’t have a latch or lock of any kind and the kids didn’t like that there wasn’t a tv in their bedroom lol. But we very much enjoyed our stay! We got great use out of the house with the fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer, and the porch swing was a lovely perk! We flew in from FL for our wedding in KC and it just made our perfect trip that much more perfect :)

About the host

I'm a native Kansas girl who loves to create great experiences for guests.
Why they chose this property
We love the quaint little downtown with shops and restaurants, there's also a winery five minutes from the house, and one of the largest lakes near Kansas City.
What makes this property unique
It's a mix of old and new. There's not many accommodations around Smithville and this helps the whole family relax for multiple days near a lake.
