Watauga Lake's Canyon Dream waterfront log cabin is in a secluded cove with private dock with boat slip, kayaks, paddleboard, paddle boat, and fire pit. Enjoy the water view from the porches while you rock or swing your worries away. Watch the sun set over the forest, float your way around the quiet cove, or venture out to explore over 180 miles of shoreline. Canyon Dream is hosted by WataugaLakeVacations, come relax, unwind, and reconnect with what you love.

Rest, relax and play on Watauga Lake! Enjoy the outdoor living spaces, take in the lake views, and watch the kids play in the quiet cove from the comfort of the deck and porch. At the water, you will find room to fish, sunbathe, swim, or just unwind. Just outside the secluded cove is a large bay away from the main channel, perfect for water activities. Bring your boat and launch at the nearby Little Milligan boat ramp or rent a boat from a local marina and keep it docked in the private boat slip during your stay. At the fire pit, kick back in the Adirondack chairs and roast s'mores, enjoy a picnic, or play some corn hole. Continue the fun after sunset when the string lights illuminate the backyard, dock, and walkway into the evening hours.

Memorable stay with grandsons.

We had a wonderful time enjoying your beautiful cabin with our grandson's. With the bunks upstairs made it fill as it were built for us. The fire pit was a big hit with roasting marshmallows. We travel quite often and have never stayed in a place so well furnished. The memories we made will last a lifetime.. Thank you all.

The cabin was exactly as advertised, and the lake access was awesome, including kayak use. We were in the lake every day, multiple times on most days.

HONEST REVIEW..the cabin and the surroundings are 100% as advertised. The fire pit in larger than most which we loved! The dock is great to sit and just listen to the quiet! The checkin process was one of the easiest VRBO check ins we have had. We loved it and it was close enough in proximity to our activities made it the best balance for us. Now the not perfect part. Nothing is perfect but that doesnt make it bad. We had a not so small issue which I WILL NOT go into as I firmly believe it isnt the issue that makes a bad review it is how its handled. I reached out and this is where the manager is separated from all other VRBO managers ever!! Within minutes he responded with 3 words...on my way.. thats it, just like that. We talked and i am sure he expected a very upset person. Again, this is what sets this manager and the houses he manages apart. He showed up, listened, immediately fixed what he could, set a plan and stuck to it!! The next morning i again had to reach out, same 3 words. On my way... he was apologetic and did what needed to be done. The remaining days of our vacation there was no need to reach out as all was well. But he did just to make sure. If you have made it this far in my review hopefully you understand that nothing is perfect it is how it is handled. And they 100% handled everything with the best customer service and care EVER! We will be back !!
