Our handicap accessible home is perched on top of Monteagle Mountain with breathtaking views of the valley below. We are close enough to walk to Main St, yet secluded enough to relax and enjoy the seclusion with our mountain-top views.

Our elegant 4 bedroom, 4 bath home is spacious with plenty of upgrades, a fully stocked kitchen, 24-hour check-in, screened-in porches with ample seating, a wood burning fireplace, fire pit, carport, and much more.

Come relax and let us take your stress away. We are a few steps away from The Assembly and a quick 10 minute drive to Sewanee- The University of the South. We are one of the rare homes that is located on the top of Monteagle Mountain with views overlooking the bluff.

The porches are our favorite spots to pass the time. Our front porch is perfect for larger gatherings, while our back porch is more intimate and ideal for sneaking away for a nap on the swing bed. Our home is all on one level, handicap assessable, and kid-friendly.

Our home includes comfortable beds with brand-new linens, an amply stocked kitchen, a conversation-inspiring layout, and just enough charm to make you want to stay a little longer.

While here, you can watch your stress and anxiety sink into the valley below. We`re thrilled to share our home with you and we hope you find as much solace here as we do!

The View from the screened in porch is priceless. Property is absolutely beautiful. Storybook location. The view and great location to all of the restaurants and easy access to the interstate. Close to amenities yet private. Layout of the house was perfect, plenty of room! Decor was very warm and welcoming. I would for sure stay here again.

Great Fall Getaway

We had a great weekend and the house was perfect for our group of six people. Beautiful views, convenient location and was just as described. We were there for a long weekend to see a concert at The Caverns which is only a 20 minute drive. Would definitely book here again.

We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids, and loved our time at Brigadoon. The house feature two screened in porches and sits a top a beautiful bluff with tremendous views. We will be back!

Family getaway

We take our married adult children on a weekend getaway every Feb. This was a first traveling with a grand baby. We try to keep it to no more than a 3 hour drive for any of us. This year’s trip was wonderful and we loved the seclusion of the home and great views. Such fun to have a real wood-burning fireplace. Already talking about a repeat stay at Brigadoon.

Bridge Ladies Stay

This home is delightful. We SO enjoyed the beautiful antique furnishings, the artwork, wonderful updated bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. Perfect 1 story layout for 4 older ladies to play bridge and enjoy the beautiful view. It could not have been any nicer. We want to go back when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy those welcoming screened-in porches.

Perfect for a group or family

Large house with an amazing view. Huge screened front porch with a view of the valley; another screened porch out back surrounded by trees. Very modern and well-stocked kitchen. Big laundry room/mudroom. Our hiking group of 3 couples had plenty of room to relax after being on the beautiful trails in the area during the day. Convenient to the Sewanee campus & to grocery stores & restaurants. I would stay here again; maybe in the winter & build a fire in the big den fireplace.

Girls weekend!

Three of us had a great time staying at Brigadoon! The house is amazing, the porches even better! The house is spread out, but yet you can all be together in different areas. It's convenient to everything but also secluded and quiet! The views were so lovely and we were in awe of God's beauty. Our host was so attentive when power was lost due to weather. We appreciated his quick response and making sure we were safe. We look forward to coming back to this lovely home!
