Alamo City Homestle Beauty

The house was exactly as described. The interior has obviously been renovated and it looks fantastic. The location was perfect and so close to downtown San Antonio. Our fur babies were very comfortable and loved the fenced-in backyard. We definitely would recommend to our friends and will stay again.

Cozy Neighborhood

We all enjoyed our stay. I had a group of 7 and we all fit perfectly. Noone complained of space. Groceries 3 minutes down the road. It was a great location. Ms.Rosie was a great host. I called she answered and was very sweet.

Host cancelled stay same day

Host cancelled our stay without notice. After asking for door lock codes through the app, 5 pm, she texted my personal number telling me VRBO was supposed to contact me about the cancellation. She wouldn’t cancel on her end so I could get my refund. I had to send pictures of her text messages to get refund. I received a message from VRBO stating unfortunately host had to cancel due to guest minimum age.Hosts should be vetted the same way guests are.

Oy...where to start ok the good. Location, number of beds, playroom and backyard all good, especially for large families. We have 6 kiddos. The "not great" - laborious communication, dodgy neighborhood, older home, 747's flying over the home every 15 minutes including through the night, sleep was impossible. The UGLY, ant infestation in the foyer, roaches in the kitchen, power went out midday on Saturday, queen bed in master is actually a full, dirty fridge and leftover open food, gross moldy uncleaned coffee pot/filter. Rude and avoidant of accountability owner who spent more time shifting blame then fixing the issues. I would not stay here again, I would not recommend to anyone especially families with children. it's a shame the place has such potential but its clear its set up as a money grab not a high quality vacation rental.
