Classic Michigan cottage just a 5 min walk from downtown Charlevoix!
Our newly renovated cottage is in the quaint town of Charlevoix, just a short 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and a gorgeous harbor. Our home accommodates 7 people comfortably (3 queens, 1 twin) including a main floor primary with en suite bath; the other 3 bedrooms and full bath are upstairs. The spacious kitchen has been fully updated with all new appliances, a big island, and a wine fridge; large mud room with new washer and dryer. The sunny dining room is perfect for family meals or game night. Relax on the deck out back, where there's a gas grill and fire pit surrounded by adirondack chairs. High-speed internet and a smart TV for when you want to be connected. Two cruiser bikes included...ride to nearby beaches or to the farmer's market in town. And, of course, don't miss the Charlevoix sunsets! Please note, like many Michigan cottages, our home does not have air conditioning. Summer 2026 dates will be released in January 2026.

We are from St. Louis, but I have spent my entire life visiting Charlevoix in the summer. Now our whole family considers it their happy place and we visit throughout the year! We bought this fixer upper in early 2022 and have made it a cozy and cute family getaway. As we near empty nesting, we hope to spend more time in Charlevoix. In the meantime, we enjoy sharing our home with others so they can experience Charlevoix the Beautiful too!
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is very convenient to everything...just a short 5 minute walk to town, beaches, restaurants, and shops. And our neighbors are wonderful too. Walk, bike, or drive to everything in a few minutes!
What makes this property unique
Ours is a family home with special touches to make it comfortable, charming, and welcoming for all ages. It looks tiny from the front but is quite spacious. It was totally renovated in 2022-23, so the kitchen has all new appliances, both bathrooms are new, the beds are comfy, and we've tried to provide lots of amenities, cooking/serving equipment, games and puzzles, and the tech you need if you aren't ready to totally disconnect (WiFi and a smart TV). Relaxing on the back deck or around the fire pit is highly recommended!
