Loved it all, hard to head home. Kitchen has everything you’ll need. Loft was bigger than pics and basement had tons to do. Warm and inviting home with fantastic views. Quiet area and subdivision and close to bike trail. 70ish stairs down to water but my 70 year old parents didn’t have a problem with them. Will be going back!!
We were blown away by the view! The gardens were beautiful and well kept. The inside provided plenty of space for our family and something for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay and hated to leave! Super convenient location.
Great architecture, view and amenities. House cleaning had a couple of slip-ups such as left over food left in oven, dishes in dishwasher and sand between the sheets. the last one made us feel kind of dirty but sense we ate out all except breakfast snacks the other two neglected issues were of no consequence. Oh we saw close encounters with two bald eagles and Pileated woodpecker. Sun over the water is phenomenal!

Scott - I am truly disappointed with the conditions you encountered upon your arrival. I wish you would have reached out to contact us, I would have sent cleaning back, or drove up and took care of it myself. Please except my apology and if you ever head this way again reach and I will make things right.
Clean, well-stocked house with great outdoor space and beautiful view! We enjoyed walking down to the rocky beach (be sure to bring water shoes!) where the water was clear and shallow, although it truly is all rocks, which prevented some of our family from being able to go into the lake. The house had a nice layout for our family to spread out; the main floor worked well for the older adults, while the kids enjoyed hanging out in the basement and loft area. The pool table, ping pong, darts, and other games were a plus! Location was a short drive to downtown Petosky, Charlevoix, and other cute towns and state parks. Checking and out was a breeze.
The description for the rental was spot on. We loved waking up in the morning to the crashing of the waves on the beach.
Loved the central location between Petoskey and Charlevoix. Property owner was easy to get hold of and very responsive.
Already looking forward to our next visit!
We would highly recommend this property!
Great property on a quiet dead end road. Just a few things to know before you go, the view is amazing but the beach area is all rocks and there are about 75 stairs to climb down to access the beach.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would stay again in the future. The host provided detailed check-in instructions and was very responsive.
We had a reunion of 5 college friends at the house. The space was excellent for our needs. We loved the extensive deck and the million dollar views! The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary equipment. We had fun playing ping pong and billiards, and watched movies and football on the big screen. Beds were comfortable! We would happily stay here again.
A perfect location between Petoskey and Charlevoix. Property is at the waterline. Well equipped. Even a washer and dryer. Very clean, well appointed and breathtaking sunsets.
We had plenty of room for our large group. The kitchen, living areas and bedrooms were very useful. The kids enjoyed the basement and all of the games provided - way more than I thought there would be. But most of all - THAT VIEW AND BEACH! We felt like we belonged right where we were and didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!
This place is even better than advertised…….the cleanliness, amenities and multi levels of decks for spectacular views was worth every penny!! We had such a great time and rarely left during our stay, but when we did have to leave, anything we needed wasn’t a far drive. With it pretty much in the middle of Charlevoix and Petosky it was very convenient to venture to both cities during our stay…….Tami was very easy to get ahold of, and she answered texts very quickly. I highly recommend this place and surely hope to make it back again one day.
The location is quiet and relaxing, yet close to activities. A very good starting point for our range of interests - bicycling; golfing; shopping; sightseeing; wineries. The house was very clean and well appointed. Host was extremely easy to work with and a good communicator. Stairs are not an issue for most adults. Be aware if travelling with small children or mobility challenged. That said - could also stay very comfortably on one level!
This house and these owners were amazing! The views, the private waterfront access, the decks and outdoor space were absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful, very well equipped, and so comfortable. There are 3 levels and plenty of space to spread out. We had two minor issues arise while staying there and the owners responded immediately and arranged prompt repairs and solutions to fix the issues (even on a weekend). There are plenty of games, activities supplied but my kids used the biggest attraction the most which was the lake! Great location and easy access to Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, and the Petoskey Stare Park. Will definitely want to rent this house again next time we are lucky enough to be in the area.
We had the privilege of staying at this house for 6 nights in mid-August 2025, with 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant. The home was spectacular- the view was amazing, the house was impeccably clean and decorated, and all essentials (and more! were thoughtfully provided by the kind & responsive hosts). Check in/out was easy. The division of the rooms worked out great for our families, and there was plenty to do for everyone. The kids had a wonderful time both indoors and out, spending time on the beach searching for their favorite rocks, wading in the water, or inside playing games & bird/boat watching. The outdoor space was great, between both the large multi level deck and patio area, there was plenty of room to enjoy the spectacular weather. The beach is right outside the house, but do note that it is a very rocky beach, not the most ideal for wading or swimming, but we all managed just fine. I would say the only (minor) drawback to consider is if you or someone in your party has mobility challenges, as the spiral staircase can be tricky to navigate, along with the climb up & down the beach. These are very clearly outlined by the host in the pictures, so it isn’t a surprise. The host has done a lot to mitigate any potential tripping hazards, like stair grips, automatic lights outside, and motion sensor night lights inside. Overall, compared to our other experiences with house rentals up north, this is by far one of the best. We’d be thrilled to rent it again.
We had the opportunity to get away with our siblings and their significant others for a long weekend getaway.
We could not have picked a better home to stay in for four days.
While we liked the option of a pool table and tvs, we found ourselves enjoying the entertaining spaces outside and never turned on a tv.
We were able to enjoy our morning coffee and conversation on the back deck overlooking the Lake Michigan waves bouncing off the shore. After watching the views for a while, we would venture down to the water line to look for a few rocks, of course petoskeys and fossils were plentiful.
Throughout the day, we found ourselves migrating down the deck to the second layer overlooking the beautiful lake view as we had dinner and plenty of laughter.
The evenings were filled with breathtaking sunsets just before we migrated into the great room for game nights and laughter into the night.
The house itself had everything we could ask for. Comfortable beds, fans, and plenty of privacy.
The house was perfectly landscaped, was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated.
It was located close in proximity to the quaint towns and wineries, and is located next to a very long biking/walking trail.
We enjoyed ourselves and each other so much, we all hope this was the first of many annual trips together.

My husband and I and 4 kids ranging in ages from 18-22 stayed at this house for 6 nights to attend a wedding in Charlevoix. The location and view were so beautiful that pictures don’t do it justice. Very private and quiet. The house itself is very well equipped and stocked. I’m a self-professed foodie and was very impressed with the kitchen tools, small appliances, utensils and crockery. I was able to cook and bake away and the only thing I could not find was a potato peeler. Kids loved the games room downstairs, the loft upstairs and the beach. The location itself was very convenient to both Petoskey and Charlevoix and there’s a great bike path extending all the way to both towns with unbelievable views. Tami was a great hostess who was prompt to answer our questions. The house guidelines were all clearly documented. The outdoor patios, seating and gas fire pit were all well maintained and very comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets provided. Not a ton of towels but lovely newer washing machine and dryer fully stocked with detergent and fabric softener to wash the towels as needed. The only drawback I noticed was a public access stairway next to the property that draws people going to the beach and parking on the dead end in front of the house. This combined with an open backyard and no gate preventing people from accessing the back of the house, doorwalls, any personal possessions on the decks. Just felt it could have been more secured. Otherwise, it was perfect!
Lovely home with a beautiful view. The large deck was a perfect spot to relax.
We enjoyed the rocky beach for collecting and skipping stones. The home is just down the road from a trail through t the woods to the waterfront, as well. It’s nicely located near downtown Petoskey and is a a great place for a family who likes adventures.
The home was great and so was the beach. All the amenities you could possibly need! Tami was great and immediately responded when I had a question! Definitely would recommend and would stay again.
