This rustic 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is the perfect place to enjoy nature while listening to the sounds of the river running by from the open deck overhanging the quick currents. A fisherman's paradise - trout fishing right in front of your own cabin - catch your limit on the beautiful clear waters of the fast flowing Chattahoochee River.

The property is close to the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Preserve and there is something for everyone in the area: fishing, hiking, river tubing, or horseback riding at Sunburst Stables or just relaxing in the hot tub on the deck as you watch the river flow by. Could it get any better than this?

This perfect spot for rest and relaxation is in pure nature. The headwaters of the Upper Chattahoochee River are steps away and still, the cabin is only 1 mile from the vibrant center of Alpine Helen, GA. This cozy cabin is located just minutes from the shopping and dining of the delightful alpine village and is a short drive to the spectacular Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Smithgall Woods Center, and Unicoi State Park. It is the perfect vacation cabin for a couple or small family.

River's Edge is lovingly cared for and features a cozy stone, wood-burning fireplace, wood paneling throughout, and a well equipped kitchen with everything you need.

Everything was FANTASTIC!!! Greatly enjoyed the time away! Would have been nice to be able to still use the fireplace for the cold mornings (40 degrees!) but I understand you can’t control the weather!!! All in all, 5 stars!

This cabin was amazing! My husband and boys had a blast catching trout right on the river behind the cabin. They also enjoyed the hot tub a few times. The walk to town was nice and convenient. Helen is small but filled with great finds and experiences. There are also many waterfalls within a half hour of the cabin that were breath taking! Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to be on the river and close to town.

The property was clean, location was perfect. The door did not lock and we could not reach anyone to tell us how to fix this. But we did now have any trouble while the door was unlocked. Plenty of hot water!!!! Kitche was well supplied. Very comfortable. You feel like your oit of town secluded but very close to downtown Helen. It was a pretty location. Quiet neighbors. Very restful even being so close. The internet was spotty which ment the tv was spotty. But we were there for thw sweet little town.

Wonderful cabin right on the river! We enjoyed the spacious cabin, especially the deck over the river. This was the perfect spot for a weekend of trout fishing! After fishing and exploring the town it was nice to come “home” to a relaxing hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. We’re already planning our return trip next year!

Pictures on ad were misleading, thought my husband and I would be staying in a private cabin, but our view across from the creek was a home with a bunch of junk in the yard, hot tub didn’t work, and would have been pointless to sit in the hot tub with no privacy because the neighbor was constantly walking around his yard. Bed was comfortable and the atmosphere inside was cozy, and I liked the convenience of being close to downtown Helen. Wouldn’t stay there again though, no privacy was a big factor.

Perfect River Stay

The cabin is absolutely beautiful with the most comfortable furniture and beds. The back deck is amazing and have I mentioned the hot tub? I would love to stay there again!! I can’t recommend it enough!!

Relaxing River Retreat

Our stay was amazing! Going to sleep at night with the sound of the river was so peaceful. We loved being able to wake up in the morning and sip our coffee overlooking the babbling river. We definitely plan on booking this rental again.

Peaceful stay right outside of town.

My wife and I had a great stay at this property. It is located close enough to town to consider walking but far enough away to feel like you can escape the main attractions. The property is very well maintained and the communication was well-timed and easy to work with.
