Ready to enjoy the best inland lake in Michigan?! Then book some time at Rocky Racoon's Rustic Retreat! This cozy cottage has a completely remodeled kitchen along with several upgrades to make your stay enjoyable. In addition to the full size bed in the bedroom, you'll have a full size sofa sleeper in the living room and a full size futon in the front 3 season room. The cottage also has wifi, a smart tv and 3 decks for you to lounge and relax. There's a picnic table, propane bbq, corn hole game and a fire pit for your outdoor activities. In addition you'll have access to the picnic table by the lake as well as a boat slip for you to use during your stay. So whether you have a row boat, pontoon, fishing or speed boat, you'll be able to dock it for your entire stay.
If kayaking or paddleboarding is your thing, those are available for a small few during your stay. Sage Lake, a 785 acre all sports lake, has some of the best fishing in the area. It also has some sand bars and great places to swim and enjoy the beauty.
Ogemaw county is home to several canoe liveries, state and national parks, walking, hiking and ORV trails as well.
