A few Quirks of home: Stairs leading upstairs were made for small children which are perfect for the kiddos but adults and teens should take them slow. We have central air however, in the warmer days of summer it can get warmer upstairs. There is a window a/c unit in one of the rooms and fans that help circulate cool air when windows are opened.

Family Get away

The property is ideally located to the shores of Lake Michigan and other amenities. We loved the nearness to a local park and the nice deck and backyard where we able to eat outside and enjoy a campfire. A wonderful experience and the kids want to return next year!!

The house was great and big enough for our family to relax. I really appreciate the extra ammenties that were offered including towels, kayaks, and beach supplies. It had easy beach access being a mile away and the frosty oasis ice cream shop which is a block away had great ice cream and food. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

We had a really lovely week! The house is charming, and it accommodated our big group very comfortably. We had a mix of adults and teens, along with one 4 year old, and we enjoyed every aspect of this property - the playroom, grilling out on the deck, the well-appointed kitchen, games, and proximity to the beach, shopping, Frosty Cove, and hiking. Tonya was so easy to work with, and has created a sweet little home away from home for her guests.

Great stay! Host was wonderful!

My family and I stayed here for two nights. House was nice, clean and beds were very comfortable. The only two negatives were the shallow steps to the upstairs and the upstairs was a little stuffy. Host was great to us. Communication was very thorough.

Perfect home for our large family

This house is very clean, was spacious enough to accommodate our large family. Has a lot of toys for the little ones to play with,has a large fenced in backyard for the little ones to play in. Nice fire pit for the adults to relax by. Beach is a very short drive from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute Place Near Lake

We enjoyed our stay overall. The bedrooms were layed out well and fit our group perfectly. The kids enjoyed the play area and playing in the yard. We appreciated the variety of games and outside toys provided. The host was great at communicating and helping with any needs we had. Only real negative was that the upstairs bedrooms did not all have air conditioners and with the temps high during the daytime it made for some stuffy, uncomfortable temperatures at night. Would recommend and even consider staying here again in the future.

Family is very important to me and I enjoy the warmth of a comfortable home. I believe a home should be a place of safety, warmth and comfort. I want to offer my guests a place they can relax, feel at home and make many new memories with loved ones.

Why they chose this property

Our home is in a quiet residential neighborhood close to EVERYTHING Muskegon has to offer. I love the size of our home because the whole family can be in one location and sleep comfortably. The house has a large fenced backyard so the kiddos can run around without mom & dad worrying about them running in the street. It is an older home so it does have some quirks like the kid size steps leading to upper floor; perfect for the kiddos but adults & teens should take them slow. There is occasional ant or spider that get in the cracks. This home makes enjoying family easy.
