Host was welcoming and informative. House was as represented, and very nice and in good condition, meeting all physical expectations. Operations management was lacking. For a four (4) day stay, paper products for bathrooms and kitchen and trash receptacles were supplied to last only one (1). In the kitchen, while we didnt expect coffee filters we did expect basics such as a hot pad, and enough utensils to match up with guests for eight (8) bedrooms.
Had a wonderful time for our family weekend trip, although the weather didn’t cooperate at first. Fog during check-in day and night and into the next morning. We were very grateful to Teddy for coming up Friday night and fixing the hot tub. A very nice day with a great cabin.
The house was definitely not the cleanest, dishwasher didn’t work the best needs to be upgraded. The views and location were excellent! Loved the location and we got to see bears every day! House was beautiful even if it wasn’t the cleanest.Overall….would recommend going!
Great property with amazing views! Annual trip with old friends and everyone had their own King size bed and most with their own bathrooms, which is often times challenging to find. Kitchen well equipped for cooking in. Lots of driveway space for extra vehicles. Lots of couches and seating for lounging at the house. Sauna and hot tun top it all off!! Very impressive property. Highly recommended!
We absolutely loved this place. Something for everyone. We had infant up to age 90 so I’m serious when I say this was fabulous. Views were spectacular, layout was great for the family, and we loved the hot tub and sauna. We hope to return again.

We appreciated the size of the home and the beautiful location. However, as frequent travelers, we were surprised that some basic items were missing—such as games, cards, notepads, and even pantry essentials like salt. Because we flew in, it was difficult to bring these ourselves. The house is spacious, though the gathering areas are more segmented than expected. We also noticed cobwebs on higher surfaces that we assumed would be addressed based on the cleaning fee. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we expected a bit more accommodation given the price.
We had an incredible 4-day stay at this chalet with our family of 16! The amenities were fantastic, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. There was ample space for everyone to unwind and relax, making it the perfect getaway. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the porch balcony, where we enjoyed stunning vistas of the mountains and the beautiful valley overlooking Gatlinburg. Overall, it was a memorable family trip, and we can’t wait to return!
I've been to Gatlinburg 5 times. This cabin was just beautiful. Incredible views of downtown Gatlinburg. I highly recommend a AWD car especiallyin if is snowing
The property was very nice! The view from the deck was phenomenal!! My family all loved the cabin. Just a reminder to future guests. The bears can and will climb up the side of the decks to get to the grill. Plus double or triple check to make sure the garbage can storage is secured. Makes a mess and brings several bears. Every activity you can think of is just a few minutes from the cabin!! Loved every minute!!!!!
OMG- the sightings were unbelievable. The cabin is great for friends with 7 king beds. We had a wonderful time. Only item needed was potholders as we couldn’t find any. Other than that, place was great.
We had a great week, lots of bear sightings from the front door. Road up the first time is a bit scary but then you just get used to the steeper incline. Home was awesome lots of room for everyone to hang out and then be alone when you needed it. We would definitely rent this property again.Would like to know where you got the arcade game station? Need one for my place.
Property was just as expected and we loved the view. House fit our family of 14 well. Check in process was rated a 4 only because we didn't get our door code at or before the 4:00 checkin time. I called at 4:05 to get the code and was given the code then. The text with the code wasn't received until 4:18. Otherwise everything was great!
View was lovely. Mattresses on main floor need to be changed. The gate does not keep the bears out. They were on our deck every night. They climb up on the railing and go around the gate, even though it is extended. They are smart little guys. It would be nice to have the address to the cabin sooner than check-in time. We were a group of friends driving in from Virginia, Arkansas, Indiana and Tennessee, and nobody knew where we were going or what our ETA was. It would have been nice to have that info a little sooner. I understand you don't want people arriving early, but given the money we were spending, we would have liked to have had more info sooner.

Won't go back to Gatlinburg at Christmas time.
The curvy, narrow, steep roads were hard to navigate. Location was very inconvenient and once yoy made it there you certainly didn't want to leave only to fight the trecherous road back. Had it snowed or the temperatures been under freezing we would never have made it to the house.
Wonderful 3-day stay! The cabin is gorgeous, very comfortable, and very well furnished! The kitchen is fully stocked. We did not eat out, we cooked every meal; the kitchen had everything we needed. The view is breathtaking, we spent a lot of time on the main porch. About 20-25 min drive from Gatlinburg, not an easy drive for those who aren’t used to narrow roads, sharp curves and steep inclines. We had some bear visits, but were well informed by our veterinarian family member about never feeding them, never approaching them and never leaving doors and cars unlocked. My only complaint: not receiving the check-in instructions until 1 hour before check-in. Cell signal is not the best in the mountains, so not having the address and the front door code until the last minute was not ok.
Most bathrooms lock were broken. Hot tub was not working, first repair was fixing leak, second repair was hitting coil and time for check out arrived.
Good part : excellent view, Saw bears from cabin, easily reachable, interior was very well done.
This chalet was great. The bears made it an even better experience. We do have one suggestion. The big gate was great but the bears still climbed the side of the deck and walked the handrail and came on the deck. The first time was Saturday afternoon and a few guys stayed back at the chalet and were sitting on the deck, they banged on the windows to scare the bears and they could get back in. Maybe add an extension on the gate so they can’t walk the handrail. We’re talking about making it a yearly trip. There was a couple of bear families that came around, we loved it!
House had the best view ever! Downtown Gatlinburg and beautiful mountains for miles! The house is large and so many bathrooms! We had 13 people and everyone had their own space! If you have small children bring baby gates! There are 3 sets of stairs! We used a chair to block as our little one was only 2 and not interested in the stairs! But if you have an adventurous one you will want gates! Other than that it was great! So many bears!!!
