We had an absolutely great time. The pond was beautiful and clean. Very nice to kayak, fish, and swim. The cabins were nicely furnished and the wifi is good.One of the two cabins’ plumbing system was not working correctly but the bathroom that did work was pretty great.The owners and neighbors also stopped by to try and fix it which is very generous and kind.

The location is amazing—George’s Pond is beautiful, peaceful, and wonderfully remote. The property was as described, and the host was very communicative, responsive, and willing to help throughout our stay.The A-frame is better maintained than the two-bedroom cabin, which has a noticeable lean and some issues with the water system. The hot water in the two-bedroom cabin worked initially but later stopped. The host offered to come fix it, but since we still had hot water in the A-frame, we chose not to have them come out. I’m confident they would have addressed it promptly.There were plenty of towels and blankets, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools. The grill also worked great. Overall, it is a beautiful and unique place to stay, especially for anyone looking for a quiet, remote getaway.
