Very clean property and very peaceful location. Absolutely the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at. Extra towels, toiletries, coffee, cooking utensils kitchen supplies, etc. Our host tried to provide everything we could possibly need for our stay. We did have an issue during our stay, but the owners took care of it immediately so that our vacation was not interrupted at all. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We would definitely stay at this property again.
The property was very clean and comfortable. Its location strikes a good balance between seclusion and convenience with only a 12 minute drive into town and 40 to Acadia NP. Good views off the back deck and down by the water. Well equipped kitchen made cooking convenient. Overall, very satisfied with this stay. I am deducting 1 star because the water in the house had a rotten egg smell that made washing dishes and showering a bit unpleasant.

Thank you for your feedback on Coveside. We are delighted to hear that the property's cleanliness, comfort, and amenities met your expectations, leading to a satisfactory stay. We appreciate you bringing the water issue to our attention and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. This was an unusual problem for this rental, and it has been easily resolved by replacing the filter.
Well maintained home and stocked with convenient supplies for travelers. Appreciated the location and loved having my morning coffee on the deck watching the tides.
It provided a nice quiet end to busy days. It was supplied with everything that we needed for our stay. We found the location to work for our vacation needs. We would certainly recommend Coveside to others.

This was such a lovely place to stay in Maine. The house was so comfortable and well appointed. It suited our family of four perfectly.
The house was in a good location for us to go different directions each day and stay out of the tourist congestion. Easy drive to Acadia etc. the house was great it had everything we needed and was very comfortable for relaxing at the end of the day.
We stated at Coveside for, a very Hot, week over the fourth of July holiday. We were happy with the accommodations, the host service, the location. The property is described accurately and is very clean well appointed. As started in the description, the hike down to the water is not easy. It is a short walk, but the trail is not maintained and seems seldom used. You don't have to be a hiker to get down, but you have to be very sure on your feet. Regardless, I hiked down at least once a day to watch the Great Blue Herons, Osprey family and occasional Bald Eagle. The house has a great floor plan and is furnished for comfort. The kitchen has almost everything you can think to need. Laundry on the main floor is a great convenience. We definitely needed to use the two ac units and several fans (we brought an extra fan with us and needed it), however the week of our stay was unusually hot. The pillows & towels were abundant and high quality. All of the basics were provided; dish soap, laundry soap, games, basic condiments & spices, bug spay... I probably wouldn't say it has a bay view, I'd say you can see a bit of water and occasional Osprey through the trees. This fact didn't lessen our enjoyment, in fact, the shade from the trees was welcomed. We frequented Newbury Neck Beach, during the heat, it was a savior! It is a pebble beach with an occasional seal, We loved it!I highly recommend staying at Coveside.
Coveside is located in a quiet neighborhood and is a very comfortable home. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals during our stay. The house is clean and well maintained. Coveside is close to Perry’s Lobster Co. and Pugnuts Ice Cream Shop, both are excellent! The house is also close to Acadia National Park which we enjoyed as well. We would love to return to Coveside!
A definite 5 star property. Clean, well furnished and stocked with anything you might need. You felt you were in a well-cared for home. I would certainly have no hesitation to staying at property again if we revisited the area.Property manager quickly responded to any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Maine.
We had a great stay at Coveside and were happy with the accommodations and cleanliness of the property! The patio furniture was a bit dirty but easy to clean off and use. The path down to the water was also overgrown, but overall it was a great experience and would recommend.
