It was a lovely property. Bring all condiments that you need. The kitchen has all utensils a great gas stove. But no storage stuff like aluminium foil or storage bags. But the kitchen is beautiful.

Property was great. The owners had zero communication didn’t respond to me or the Vrbo assistant. Very minimally stocked and the property seems to be listed for sale which kinda had the feeling that someone may show up uninvited. Also may have people living in the attached room which is locked but shares an entrance.

The house is clean and very roomy and very Beautiful the kitchen is very understocked . some of the bedroom Air conditionors didnt work , some of the tvs didnt have remotes amd we couldnt operate them, the parking is a little odd because you share with the guest house . there was damage to the wall (plaster) tried to report it because I don't want charged for something I didn't do . I never got a response to my report . Don't know if they will try to charge me with damages . So make sure to document when you enter any vrbo to ensure all damages is documented by video upon arrival. The view is Amazing .

Gorgeous

Excellent and beautiful property. Don’t pass up this gem. I wish I lived here! Tips: bring ear plugs for the trains and if it’s cold out let that hot water run for quite awhile to warm up.

Bonners Ferry

Just a really great experience all around. This place has a ton of charm and history that you can feel when you step inside. I would highly recomend this place if youre looking for something unique. The whole booking and arrival process was smooth and easy as well. I would highly recommend thisnplace to amyone. .

Beautiful Historic House

Historic house in Bonner's Ferry with a lovely current remodel in kitchen and baths. Bones of the house are understandably awkward but it's a vintage place. Located in an older residential neighborhood, close to "downtown" and convenient. Also, very close to the railroad tracks... be prepared for regular whistles and rumbling that shakes house every hour. We were there during a heat wave and greatful for the 4 of 7 air conditioners that worked. Overall amazing value and lovely place for our group.

Property had no power upon arrival and Host never resolved or communicated with us. Probably didn’t pay the power bill.

No freezer, AC in only 2 rooms, no internet

Internet was out for 6 days of our 12 day stay. He promised to come check on the two rooms that the AC’s wouldn’t come on, many times but he would never show up. Then the cleaners came and kicked ALL of our personal stuff even a pillow under the beds and still didn’t even clean the rooms let alone change the sheets. God forbid would they put our personal stuff in the closet… They never cleaned ANYTHING yet we had to pay for the cleaners. The owner promised to pay us back for the frozen stuff we lost because the freezer didn’t work at all, but he never did. The house really is beautiful and the rooms are big but no internet after a really hard day of working really was awful for our employees. Let alone us being able to finish our online book work that we needed to do after work hours. Then when the temperature reached above 80 it was unbearable for our employees in those two rooms…

Freezer does not work - so do not bring food- other than for refrigerator ! There were no paper towels and only a scrap of toilet paper! No cleaning supplies to wipe up with ! There were dish towels! No oven mits or oven supplies so cant use oven! Beautiful property -clean yard and landscaping! Plenty of place to sit inside!Beds and pillows are super comfortable and fresh smelling bedding! Bring some laundry soap if you want to wash anything- no laundry supplies! Nice washer and dryer!No vacuum is available to keep floor or carpets clean during stay! The kitchen and bathrooms had black hair all over when we arrived and i couldn’t clean it up! The windows down stairs do not open - so no air flow! Even if they did open , the storm windows are on downstairs All windows upstairs open and no screens- so be careful if you are bringing children! Overall decent stay- they just need to work out details! They did a good job keeping the details of the home before remodel- and did a good job redoing floors! My family lived in this home for 12 years so we knew of condition before remodel ! I think if the things above were fixed it would be a much better experience for all !

Horribly Disappointing! Someone was there watching tv on the sofa when we arrived!

Ww arrived, after driving 10 hrs, a man was sitting in the living room watching television! Dishes were in the sink & the house was not clean: coffee stains on the kitchen counter, dirty switches in the sink, a lot of hair on the floor of the downstairs bathroom. My family is from Bonners Ferry & we were there for a funeral. This was not a fun vacation experience but it also was even worse than imagined for a funeral. The A/C split in the tv room was on when we arrived & only one bedroom had A/C on upstairs. They must have been on timers because they turned off that evening despite the house being way too warm. None of the windows opened except one upstairs bedroom which my 67yr young mother slept in. I recently had an accident & have 6broken ribs, 2displaced. I also had a collapsed lung that required a chest tube & have a healing lacerated spleen. I got to sleep on a sofa for two nights because it was so hot! I couldn’t use the heating pad I brought but I also couldn’t use the 4 ice packs I brought because the freezer didn’t work. FYI a note was left previous to our stay by a former guest telling them that the freezer didn’t work so that was a known problem that had not been addressed. The bathtub upstairs was nice but the hot water was limited. My mom said she didn’t have an issue w/ hot water in the shower. We put chairs in front of the doors for safety- we didn’t feel safe. We did go online to try to turn on A/C but it didn’t work. Vrbo & the host/owner did nothing.
