Property was really nice. If you rent ATVs there is lots to do. Couldn't get Internet to work but that's fine we used DVDs they had on hand for entertainment and kept me away from working all weekend. Host was friendly and could be reached with ease. 10/10
The short version:We loved it and the cabin was great and more than sufficient for the 6 of us. The owner communicated well and answered every question quickly and helpfully usually within minutes. The area is beautiful with beautiful Aspens, pines and wildlife. This was a very nice cabin. It has a very nice view and a large deck. Part of the deck is covered and party is not. I spent some time just looking at the view from the deck. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us that stayed there. The kitchen is large with a nice stove, oven and microwave that worked very well for all our meals. The fridge and freezer were large and all our food was easily contained in it. The WiFi was strong and worked well with about 10 or 12 devices attached. I was able to do some essential work with my laptop with good speed and connection. We used the large TV and connected DVD player for entertainment in the evenings or when it was raining. When it wasn't raining, we went in some nice walks around the area and felt like we were in the first where it was quiet and peaceful. When not walking we were playing games at the large table that had plenty is room for all of us to gather, eat, talk and play games. We had a very relaxing week with no problems. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone who had a group that will fit. The bedrooms were nice and the beds comfortable though some thought they were too soft or hard but that is very subjective depending on what your are used to.
We stayed at this property over Labor Day weekend with my family and another family. We also brought our dogs.
The house needs some work with cleanliness. When we walked in, there was a half chewed Cheeto chip on the floor (which is not the way you want to walk into a rental). As we walked upstairs, the kitchen and floors were very clean however the spare pillows in the master bedroom were all stained and dirty. Made me worried about what the pillows look like that were on our beds.
They are in need of new bathroom towels and shower curtains. They are very worn out and did not look pleasing to use and the curtains had stains.
The windows are beautiful and have a great view however they were all spotted and dirty. I took the time to clean them before our friends arrived. I also cleaned the baseboards in the main bathroom as they were caked with dirt and dust. The silverware in the drawer was dirty so I also hand washed them all.
The handle to the microwave was broken and the spot where you put the soap in the dishwasher was broken off.
We were asked to strip the beds at the end of our stay and saw a horrible dark stain on the master bedroom mattress.
Awesome deck but could use some real furniture out there so you can enjoy the view. The firepit was an amazing experience at night where we roasted s’mores.
Overall, the bones of this property and location are great but it needs some TLC in order to feel relaxed staying here.
