4BR Lakefront on Long Lake with Private Dock and Screened Porch, Sleeps 10
**New dates added for Summer 2026!**
When we found this house, built in 2020 right on Long Lake, we knew immediately it was something special. We've made it our own since, and we open it to a small number of guests each year. We want your stay to feel exactly the way ours does.
On the water: You're sitting on 100 feet of private shoreline on Long Lake, one of the premier recreational lakes in Maine. Eleven miles long, a mile wide, with clean water and no invasive aquatic plants - it's the kind of lake that rewards a whole week of exploring. A short path from the house leads directly to a T-shaped dock with a swim ladder and room for two boats. Kayaks, a paddleboard, and lake loungers are waiting at the water's edge. When the day winds down, gather around the lakeside fire pit with Adirondack chairs tucked into the trees right at the shoreline.
The house: Four bedrooms, sleeps 10, three bathrooms. The main living area centers on a gas fireplace with a reclaimed wood accent wall, with large windows that flood the room with natural light and open directly onto the screened porch and deck. The kitchen is built for real cooking: butcher block island with seating for four, pro-style range, and reclaimed beam ceiling. We furnished this house for ourselves, and that care shows throughout. The dining room table is a solid walnut piece from Pompanoosuc Mills, and the walls feature work by local artists including photographer Darylann Leonard.
The bedrooms: The two main-floor queen bedrooms are well-appointed and quiet, one with an en suite bathroom. Downstairs, a beautiful king bedroom looks directly out to the lake, the one guests tend to fight over. Also on the ground floor, a custom camp-themed bunk room sleeps four, with built-in wood bunks, a log-post ladder, and enough personality that the kids will claim it on arrival.
Outside: The screened porch is a genuine room unto itself: two-person bar seating with a pass-through window to the kitchen, string lights, and a ceiling fan. Bug-free evenings from May through October. The back deck off the main living room has a Weber gas grill and bar-height seating overlooking the trees toward the water.
Rainy days sorted: The ground floor common area has a 75-inch TV, ping pong table, Pop-A-Shot basketball arcade, and Nintendo Wii. It's genuinely fun and a good backup plan when the weather doesn't cooperate.
The area: Five minutes to downtown Bridgton for coffee, groceries, and dinner. Fifteen minutes to Pleasant Mountain. Jet ski and boat rentals a short drive away in Naples. Portland is an easy hour, with world-class restaurants, the Old Port, and the waterfront.
A few practical notes: the house has a dedicated laundry room with full-size washer and dryer, and fast WiFi throughout.
We keep this house the way we'd want to find it: well-stocked, well-maintained, and cared for. We hope you love it as much as we do.

This property was amazing...I could not have been more pleased.
I stayed at Paul's property while attending Homecoming weekend at Bridgton Academy. It was the perfect place for me ..quiet, extremely well furnished and convenient. I am looking forward to a return visit. The lake is beautiful...
We had a fantastic stay at this Long Lake property. The house is even better than it looks in pictures. Everything was clean, organized, and high quality. We have stayed in quite a few VRBO‘s, which were just OK and this one was Far above average.
The location is fantastic for a family. Our kids enjoyed , jumping off the dock, using the paddleboard, water pad, and kayaks. Indoors they had a blast playing ping-pong and “pop a shot basketball” not to mention using the video games and watching movies on the gigantic downstairs TV. Plenty of outdoor seating available, including around a small fire pit, on the deck, and on the dock. The lake water off the dock is clear and great for swimming.
We brought our own boat and enjoyed being right in the middle of the lake. Unlike Sebago Lake, Long Lake is not as impacted by winds and choppy water so we could boat every day. The property also had space to leave our boat trailer.
The yard itself is mostly wooded, which allows for some nice shade during the day if you are not on the dock or deck. The yard is beautifully landscaped. There is a slight slope from the house to the dock. The driveway has a steeper slope that might be challenging for a smaller vehicle but was fine for our SUV’s and trucks. There was also space for additional parking at the top of the driveway.
Paul was very responsive, kind and helpful.
Would absolutely stay here again!
