Summary:

Beach days don’t get much easier than this! Beach Access is a 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath home with stunning ocean views and everything you want in a beach vacation. Spend the week hopping between the beach and private pool, then head inside for a little friendly competition in one of the two family rooms. With a hot tub and plenty more to enjoy back at the house, the fun doesn’t stop when the beach day ends!

This level is all about giving you a little space to spread out and relax away from the whole group. Catch a game on TV, start a foosball match or grab a drink from the wet bar before heading back outside.

Rather than adding this cost to every reservation, we’ve chosen to keep it optional for guests who would like to arrive with the beds already made.

The positives: Renee was very helpful and responsive. Can't beat the beach access. The elevator isn't spacious but we loved having it there. Overall we had a blast and made some great memories, but...The negatives: If I owned that property I would fire the cleaning crew. A prior renter had spilled a drink under the 3rd floor ottoman and we had to deal with a line of ants coming and going from that sticky mess. Same thing on the 2nd floor with what looked like some Fruit Loops under a couch. The house is too nice to just get a quick wipe down. Additionally, there was only a little bit of toilet paper remaining on each bathroom roll and no backup rolls, no backup paper towels or trash bags so we had to scramble a bit at check in. And listen to this...the HVAC thermostats were set on 72 degrees and they are covered by plastic lock boxes! Renee said "The owners don't like people turning it way down because it drives the power bill up. I will have a key dropped off for you." And, to her credit, she did. We bumped it down one degree upstairs and two degrees downstairs, which made a huge difference. My family and I understand that some people don't treat rental property with the respect due it, but at this price point you are going to lock the thermostats??? Oh my, no. Do not do that.The fridge is a GE Cafe line and these appliances can be finicky. The display showed the water filter hadn't been changed in two years. And it made ice in super slow motion. We had to buy ice. Mick

We'll definitely be discussing this with our cleaning team to make sure cleaning under furniture continues to be part of our standard process. We also apologize that the extra trash bags and toilet paper weren't in the home before your arrival, but we're glad we were able to get those over to you shortly after. We completely understand the frustration with the thermostats. Unfortunately, that's a homeowner preference that we're required to honor but we're always happy to bring the key by, like we did during your stay. The water filter was replaced at the beginning of the season but for some reason the display hasn't reset. Thank you for letting us know about the ice as well. We'll have it checked out, it may just be time to replace the refrigerator. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope to welcome you back to an Isle Stay Awhile property in the future!
