Guest Access:
You'll use a key fob to enter the building and take the elevator to your floor during your stay. The apartment has a Yale smart lock keypad for self check-in with a code that is unique to your stay and expires after you check out for added security and peace of mind.
At check-in, you'll enter the building using a call box before retrieving your key fob from a lockbox inside.
All access codes are sent 15 minutes before your scheduled arrival time.
The Neighborhood:
The location is unbeatable - just steps away from the iconic Louisville Palace and Mercury Ballroom, where you can catch some of the best live music acts in the region. Plus, you're within walking distance to Fourth Street Live, an entertainment district filled with bars, restaurants, and shops.
And that's not all - you're less than a mile from Whiskey Row, where you can sample some of Kentucky's finest bourbons and soak up the city's rich history. A few blocks further, you'll find the trendy neighborhoods of NuLu and Butchertown, both packed with art galleries, cafes, and boutiques
Getting Around:
We're in the historic Henry Clay Building at 604 S 3rd St, in the heart of downtown Louisville.
Access the building by turning into the Clay Commons Parking Garage entrance, just past the Hilton on Chestnut St. There is a loading zone to your left past the Hilton valet before you enter the gates to the public garage, with a large Henry Clay sign to the right of wooden doors-- feel free to park in front of the doors with flashers on while you follow the check-in instructions and unload your luggage.
We offer paid onsite parking to guests for $20/night. You'll have access to the secure garage directly underneath the building, where you can access the building and take the elevator directly to your floor!
If you've paid for onsite parking, instructions will be included in the check-in instructions in your personalized Boarding Pass.
The Clay Commons Parking Garage at 350 W Chestnut St is another parking option adjacent to the building for $25/night, but there are plenty of other garages or paid street parking in the area.
Other Things to Note:
Need extra bedding? We don't charge extra guest fees, but we do offer a pull-out sleeper sofa. Let us know if you plan to use it, and we’ll leave extra linens, a blanket, and pillows in your room before you check in. We charge $15 per reservation to cover the additional laundry costs for sheets, blankets, and towels.
Want to start your trip early or sleep in on your last morning? We’re happy to accommodate an early check-in or late checkout if arranged in advance! Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm, and our checkout time is 10:00am – we charge 10% of the nightly rate per hour (with a minimum of $15/hour) to adjust our cleaners’ schedules and arrange this service.

The place was great, the parking was like everyone else says, it would be nice to have more silverware my wife has a special diet and we have to cook so one set works but it wound nice to have more.
This is my second time staying at this property and I love it everytime. My brother was impressed with the place as well. Super cute and does have the modern vibe to it. Next year we're coming a day early to just enjoy the place and location.

This was incredible value for the location in the heart of the city. Easy access to all the downtown attractions, and quick on/off from the freeway. The Keurig & K-cups were much appreciated. Pack your own utensils though, as there is not a full set of spoons/forks/knives. Read the check-in instructions carefully, and do not be alarmed by the basement parking, as it appears to be under construction. The host is great with communication and the check out process was super smooth. The hallway carpeting and aromas in the air did not make a good impression, but is not the fault of the host. Overall, is was perfectly priced, convenient, and met expectations.
Super communicative during the stay, in a safe building. The parking garage below was a little sketch (dark and dirty), but it was at least locked up! The building was very cool and worked well for our plans.
My favorite was having a YMCA one block away. It was a 6 floor Y with a pool and all the workout equipment. 4th street was very cool to walk down and I loved the piano in the lobby

Has everything you need for a long or short stay away from home. Management is quick to reply and they have thought of everything possible to supply your stay just shy of of your personal toothbrush, which was awesome. 10/10 will be staying here again.

The host was always available when we needed assistance. We had issues with the key fob missing in the box. Then the code to get in room did not work once we got a key fob. Took us 30 minutes to get in our room. There was less than 1/2 roll of toilet paper and no extra supplies. We had to use paper towels or the Kleenex in the room.
