Whether you're seeking a winter wonderland or a summer escape, this property caters to all seasons with its close proximity to skiing, hiking, rivers, and lakes. The space is less than a mile from Franconia Village, approximately 10 minutes from Cannon Mountain, downtown Littleton and downtown Bethlehem, 25 minutes from Loon Mountain and Bretton Woods, 30 Minutes from Santa's Village and under an hour from Storyland and North Conway!

Sleeps 18+ with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy everything from our mountain views, large outside deck, dedicated kids' play area, and a basement hangout complete with big screen TV, ping pong, foosball, giant connect four, games and more!

Perfect Family Ski Lodge

I stayed at the Sugar Shack for a week with my extended family, including my 2 and 4 year old. Everything about our stay was outstanding. The property is beautiful and well laid out, with the ability to have child, family, and living space set apart. The hosts were attentive and considerate, and even extended our check out to account for bad weather on the roads without being asked. Yhe hardest part of staying was having to leave, and we’d jump at the chance of staying here again.

What a beautiful, immaculate, and well-stocked home for our 3-generation stay that was close to 93. The owner was very responsive to answer a few quick questions. We’ve been renting places for about 10 years, and this home was, by far, the most well stocked with dishes & cookware, soaps & lotions & all the paper products, & bathroom toiletries that we needed for our entire stay. We appreciated you opening and sharing your home with us, as we made some wonderful memories this holiday weekend .

We loved gathering in the open living room with its stunning White Mountain views and preparing meals together in the fully equipped kitchen. Every bedroom was comfortable and beautifully furnished, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. Our hosts, John, Mac, and Britt, were amazing — kind, responsive, and thoughtful. They offered us a complimentary early check-in and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Their attention to detail and warm communication made us feel right at home. The location was peaceful yet close to Franconia Notch and local attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring and relaxing. Every detail — from décor to cleanliness — showed great care and pride. We made unforgettable memories here and would love to return.
