We stayed here while visiting our daughter, who’s a senior at Butler, and wanted a spot close to campus so we could easily get to a basketball game. It was also important to have enough space for our family of five and room for a few of her friends to hang out one afternoon. This home worked out great! The layout is spacious and well thought out, and the kitchen is fantastic—plenty of room and well-equipped. The living room was comfortable, and the upstairs bedrooms had nice beds. The only challenge we ran into was the heating—it was a very cold weekend, and the temperature balance between upstairs and downstairs was tricky. The downstairs would be chilly while the upstairs got too warm, and we couldn’t quite get it dialed in. That could have been user error, though, since we’re from Florida and not used to managing a heating system in colder weather. One small surprise was that the home is actually one half of a duplex, which we didn’t realize at first. It was a little tricky to find, especially with what looked like an abandoned house next door. For a moment, we worried we had the wrong place, but once we figured it out, everything was great.Overall, this home matched the listing and photos perfectly and was a great value for the price. Would definitely recommend for a Butler visit!
