We loved this condo. It is easy to get to the highway to visit resorts and just minutes from restaurants and stores. The beds are comfy and plenty of space. It feels honey rather than some condos that feel like a corporate rental. Little things like having spices and coffee filter and coffee helped make this a great stay. Will try to rent here again!
The hosts were friendly and helpful during the booking process and seemed willing to help. The maintenance of the place is what needs improvement wasn’t very clean had to clean the pot in order to use it and there was hair in the sheets. Also quite a few lights were out including the porch light which made navigating the icy steps in the dark a hazard. If the hosts have a maintenance/cleaning company taking care of it that’s where the attention needs to be. Otherwise would have given a better review.

Thanks for letting us know. Our cleaners do change out the sheets after each guest to fresh clean sheets but they will be mindful in future of hair from other surfaces such as their clothing or duvets. We have also made a special request that they check the pots and pans inside the kitchen cupboards on their next clean. The bulb on the porch light often comes loose, we plan on replacing the light fixture within the month. Appreciate the feedback as we strive to keep the house in great shape for our guests.
Overall the unit was very comfortable. It could use some upgrades, but no issues at all. A very comfortable and conveniently located spot. Communication with the owner was very good. Thanks

Thanks Doug, glad you had a good time and comfortable, we are sure trying to keep that cosy cabin feel. 2022 update - House as now been renovated a great deal
The property was just what we needed. It could have used maybe some updating like the temperature control panels. The property could use some kind of cooling upstairs in the summer. But honestly it was great it was cozy and felt honey. Just what my family needed

Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay. We will purchase a fan for each bedroom upstairs for those warmer nights up in the mountains.

Disliked: Cleanliness
We enjoyed our 2 weeks. Especially enjoyed upstairs bedroom, fans& humidifiers, & close trails. But this unit needs some TLC. No clocks or salt. I was left with sheets in the dryer, and hair in the bathtub trap to pick out. Floors and l r rug were dirty. I found spices 8 years past expiration. There were no pamphlets or info on good restaurants, boating, Dillon concerts, or Colo. fishing. All previous VRBO had pages of “to do” info in their welcome book. For safety reasons the broken, taped window and cracked vinyl flooring should be repaired.

Thanks so much for your feedback. The pamphlets will be updated and the spices left by past guests will be cleaned out. We will add a second salt shaker as the other one is hard to spot. The rug will be removed and we will discuss with the cleaner, it is usually very good and the house is regularly deep cleaned. Glad you enjoyed the stay.
The house was in a perfect location to several ski hills. Nice, quiet neighborhood. House was spacious, comfortable and very clean with all comforts and necessities we needed.
This home makes you feel like you're 'right at home'. Clean, spacious and has everything you need. Great views from the deck to the mountains and lake. Hiking trails right across the street and centrally located. We would definitely come back.
Great family basecamp for exploring Summit County!
We had a great time at this pet-friendly duplex over the long Independence Day holiday. Clean, spacious, in a quiet neighborhood well above Silverthorne. Walk to hiking/biking, quick access to Silverthorne outlets, Frisco and Lake Dillon fun, and easy to see how it would be ideal in winter for short drives to Breck, Copper, Keystone, A-Basin, Loveland, even Vail or Ski Cooper isn't a super long drive. Highly recommended, and Ashley is proactive, attentive and responsive to requests!
We needed a get away from work so we found this duplex. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful if you need anything. Great communication with the property owner as well. The code lock was so handy to have so you don’t have to worry about a key. The inside was clean and just renovated. There are great trails in walking distance, I wouldn’t try parking at them since there is limited parking at the trail heads. Just go for it and walk straight there. The second balcony upstairs was great for cooling off since it got up to almost 90 degrees when we were there. There is no air conditioning but plenty of fans to circulate the air. If you crack the window when it gets warm inside it cools off very quickly.
One thing we weren’t expecting were the dogs in the other houses nearby were never on leashes and will walk around without being watched. We have a dog that we are working on training with and this caused us a few problems with potty time. Another thing is to make sure to check your GPS, I-70 can have some nasty traffic build up.
Spacious and comfortable for a family of 5 and 2 dogs. Kids loved the bunk bed upstairs and had fun playing in the snow every chance they got. Kitchen was well equipped having almost everything I needed for Thanksgiving dinner. Would come back and stay again!
Within 10-20 minutes of so many great options. Loved the hiking and biking trails 100 yards from the front door! Very comfortable cabin for our family of four and dog. The kids had fun with the games, puzzles and DVDs when we wound down our days.
