The location is perfect for easy access to area shops and restaurants. We’ve stayed multiple times and will book again for future trips to Bryson City. Highly recommended!
Rockhouse is in the perfect location! A short walk to downtown Bryson City and the train depot. This home is so cozy and is perfect for families. The kitchen is fully stocked, the toys and games were perfect for the kids, and the back porch area was great for entertaining. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.
We had an amazing stay during the week of Christmas. The host was wonderful and the house was immaculate and clean. It accommodated our group of 11 nicely and made for the perfect little Christmas house. Within walking distance of all the shops and the train. We plan on making this a tradition and we will choose this house every time!
We loved our stay at the Rockhouse! The house was so charming and full of character. It was very spacious for our family and the perfect location as we were able to walk to the Polar Express. David was a great host and was very responsive in answering the couple of questions I had. I highly recommend the Rockhouse and look forward to staying there again.
Excellent property. Even better than described. All of the rooms were nice and large and everything was really well updated in the home. Being able to walk to restaurants each night was perfect. We really enjoyed the location. Look forward to coming to stay again next year.
The house and its location were perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room in the house, it was clean and easily accessible. The location is perfect as it’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants.
The house was cute, cozy and in a prime location. Upon arrival, we first noticed the Christmas decorations…a tree and warm blankets! Very nice touch! We stayed two nights for a Polar Express weekend, and had a great time. The beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of games/puzzles for the kids, check in and check out were simple and instructions were delivered in plenty of time to ask questions, if necessary. I highly recommend Rockhouse…it is the perfect size for a family!
We enjoyed our stay at the Rockhouse. The owner has done an excellent job renovating the property. We were very comfortable. The house is convenient for rafting at the NOC and for walking downtown to eat and enjoy the breweries.
The place was very neat and cute. The location is great if you like to walk to town. The kitchen and cooking setup was great. Host was super communicative. We enjoyed it.

This was a great home to stay in with all the amenities one could want! Lots of space for a large family or 2 smaller families. Close to downtown Bryson City shops and restaurants. We would love to stay there again sometime. Thank you!
We had the best time at the Rockhouse! Super convenient to downtown and within walking distance. The house was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and David responded quickly with anything we reached out to him with! Definitely recommend staying here.
As advertised, very nice house, good neighbors, short walk to the train station and town. Worked well for a group of six adults. Will consider this house again on the next stay.
I came to visit for a train trip with the adults in my immediate family. The place was a perfect location and just right for entertaining, making dinner, playing games, and sleeping. Easily accessible and convenient bedroom and bathroom access on main level. Would definitely stay here again!
Location! Location! Location! The RockHouse is a short , easy walking distance to downtown Bryson City(Polar Express). Our first family Christmas vacation was a big success and a significant part of that result was the RockHouse. Walking into the house, we were immediately comforted with the soft glow of the lights on the decorated Christmas tree. It felt homey right off the rip! The house has all the space, comfort and supplies needed for your stay. The extras:books, games, cozy blankets, sound machines in every room and baby items were used, appreciated and enjoyed. Our family of 11 including 4 small kids (aka Team Chaos) had a great week in Bryson. We thoroughly enjoyed the Polar Express, Darnell Farms, The Bakery, The Honey Bear, the Bryson City Museum, lots of shops along the main streets and the Nantahala River Gem mine. We would highly recommend staying at the RockHouse for your stay in Bryson!
Great cottage home in walking distance to downtown
We loved our stay in Bryson. We enjoyed waking up and taking a short stroll downtown for coffee/food. The home is nicely furnished and fully stocked. We had a little trouble using the keypad to get in but the property manager is quick to respond to help with any issues.
We were pleasantly surprised by this amazing house. It was stocked with everything we needed and even had a Christmas Tree for our December stay. The beds were comfortable and rooms were large. The kitchen was well stocked and the entire house was very clean. The house is a short walk to everything in downtown Bryson City. We didn’t even have to turn on our car the entire trip! If you are visiting the area, I highly recommend this house.
Your home was perfect! The grandkids loved spending time together. The home was a perfect size. We sat and watched Christmas movies, walked down town and toad the Polar Express. The kids loved the little game room. The location was great, we never got back in the car until time to go home. Thanks for allowing us to stay. We will come back.
