Circular driveway around the property allows full access to the back door entrance via ramps from the driveway. Sit by the fire on the 12 ft wide front porch and savor the beautiful views of the New River. The inside of the house has a retro feel with antique sinks, cabinets and furniture. Enjoy coffee at the retro coffee bar. The fun awaits at Riverview!

The host was very friendly, and was really good with communication. The house was wonderful. There were so many comforts of home there. The kitchen is wonderful, and has two sinks, so that preparation of food can be happening with two different people and you are not constantly running into the other person. The house and the view exceeded our expectations.

The house was spacious and well-maintained. There was plenty of space in the kitchen, dining area, and living room for preparing meals, playing table games, or just having conversation with one another. The outside deck was comfortable and relaxing as we took in the New River below. It was nice to have a bathroom off each bedroom. Our host, Dan, was kind and easy to contact if we had any questions.

We live on 13 acres that borders the New River for a 550 ft. river's edge. Our primary residence is here as well as the newly constructed guest house for rentals. We love the awesome views of the New River and river access is included with the rental.

It is quiet here (not many neighbors) and the air is clean (5 miles to the nearest city/town).

What makes this property unique

It has a magnificent view of the New River and sits on the Virginia side of the river but there is access to Independence VA and Sparta NC within 10 miles from the property.
