We stayed at this cabin during the New Year holidays. The place is spacious, nice, and the heating worked very well, which was essential for this time of year. Despite some issues, we still managed to enjoy our stay. That said, there are several important areas for improvement. The kitchen was only partially functional, as two of the burners never worked. The internet was completely unavailable, and there was no electricity for the dining room lamp or in one of the bedrooms. If this is important to you, we recommend bringing your own bed sheets, as the ones provided may feel insufficient. We personally brought additional blankets for extra comfort. The bathroom did not have enough toilet paper, and there was no body soap provided, which was disappointing.Would we stay again? Yes — although we truly hope these issues are addressed, at least during the winter season, as they would greatly improve the overall experience.Overall, the property has potential and is pleasant, but it needs improvements to basic services to ensure a comfortable stay.

It was a good cabin for the price. Host was excellent communicating and manager on site was terrific. Area is a bit crowded and was not what we expected. Still, I would return, a good place to stay.

Just Okay, Good Price
Check in was good, Dave on sight allowed us to check in early which was a great bonus. The photos make it seem like the property is on the lake, so when we pulled into the property that matched the photos, we were told we actually booked the property across the small road, and that they just “use those photos” for every cabin. Luckily, Dave allowed us to take the cabin right on the water. So note, this property is NOT right on the water. We were a bit frustrated with the lack of communication though because when booking, we asked for the pontoon rental for the duration of our stay and agreed on a price. The person who deals with the boats had no idea about this when we arrived and was unaware about the pre-negotiated price, which they ended up agreeing to. However this meant that we didn’t actually get the boat until 7:30pm, which was a bummer because we hoped to use it when we got there. The cabin itself was tidy, but not super clean; cobwebs/spiders, bugs. The twin beds and pillows were wildly uncomfortable, and all that was provided for bedding was 1 very thin duvet cover that smelled like stale smoke. The plates/silverware all felt like they had to be re-washed prior to use. But it did have everything listed, “bare minimum” perhaps. The pontoon boat was okay, pretty old/used and if it wasn’t for the “deal” we agreed upon we would’ve rather have booked a boat from just across the way. Overall, wouldn’t stay here again but it was just okay!
