It was a lovely stay. The cottage was mostly what we expected. The screened room where we took our meals was very well appreciated late into the evenings. Not familiar with this area, the only downfall we had was that this lake and several of the other Kawartha lakes we encountered are heavy with seaweeds for swimming. So skipped swimming and did enjoy the cottage's two kayaks.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and especially the screened room for relaxing and meals in the evenings. We understand your feedback about the swimming conditions—some Kawartha lakes can indeed have more weeds in certain areas and seasons. We’re happy to hear you made the most of the kayaks and enjoyed your time at the cottage overall. We’d love to host you again in the future! Regards, Pooneh
