Perfect for our needs. Host lives on site and very attentive. We are definitely planning to be back when husbands work schedule puts him back in the area.
Wish we would found this little place sooner as our son is now a senior at Missouri S&T. Loved waking up and seeing the animals. Joe communicated great with us about our stay.
This cozy cottage was the ideal spot for a weekend of S&T activities-- barely off the beaten path, but felt peaceful and remote. So many amenities. Bigger in real-life than pictures appeared. Loved my stay!
Worked perfect for us, needed a place to stay for the week while our son attended a college camp at Missouri S&T. Host was great, made sure we had what we needed, provided coupons to local restaurant, gave us some recommendations on things to do at our next stop in Springfield. I would recommend this place or stay again if I was in the area, was cozy and peaceful very close to town.
We stayed one night and it was wonderful! Clean and cozy! Hosts were super friendly! So glad we found this place and would highly recommend to anyone traveling through the area!
The cottage was perfect for a night or weekend getaway! It was warm and inviting. You can tell the hosts put much thought into making their guests comfortable and providing some essentials you might forget while traveling.
This was hands down one of the best stays we’ve had. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed—and then some. You can tell right away this isn’t just a rental, it’s a place the host genuinely cares about. The location is ideal—easy access right off I-44, yet quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Being near the horse stable added a unique charm you just don’t find everywhere. Sitting outside and taking in the setting was a highlight of the trip.Joseph was an outstanding host. Communication was quick, clear, and friendly from start to finish. He made everything easy, and that kind of reliability goes a long way when you’re traveling. If you’re staying anywhere near Rolla, this is the place. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book again, and honestly, we’re already looking forward to coming back.
Stayed just one night while in the area. Looked exactly like the pictures. Owner was very responsive. He had a fire going in the wood stove, didn’t even need the heater! Snacks and water. Loved being able to see animals . Great location, easy to get too. Would definitely stay again!
