This house was AMAZING. Easy to find, check into, and decompress in! We were there for a staff retreat for my school, and all the staff who attended found it peaceful and fun. We played board games, sat on the screened in porch, and watched the sunsets each night. I will definitely rent this again for my family AND for our next staff retreat. House nicely appointed, cooling fans on huge porch overlooking the lake, and peaceful dock.

True Southern Hospitality

This house is spectacularly beautiful. It was clean, stocked and had every amenity you could think of. Plenty of towels, cosy blankets and super comfy furniture. We barbecued and cooked dinner one night at the house. The kitchen has everything you would need and was a pleasure to cook in as it is huge and has 2 sinks, 2 fridges & high end appliances! The decor is lovely yet comfortable. It looks like an interior designer designed the entire place. The beds were AMAZING. Even the twin beds were super comfortable. We all slept great. The AC worked great and all bathrooms were beautiful as well. There are a lot of details and personal touches that really made us feel at home here. We were a large group comprised of teens, college kids, aunts and uncles and one Grandma. Our daughter goes to LSU and we came down for a football game. At first I was worried about the distance to the school which was exactly 30 minutes away, but it was a super easy drive and we really enjoyed the quiet and beauty of the False River community. There is a Walmart exact 8 minutes away. The view of the river out back is amazing, especially the sunrise. The dock off the back of the house was so nice and they also have a wonderful fire pit and really comfortable outdoor furniture right outside the back door. Our host, Brandy, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. She had suggestions for everything I asked about: food, activities and how to handle the game craziness. We really can’t wait to come back!
