About this property

Spacious Country Guest Apartment

Spacious guest apartment tucked into the southern Willamette Valley wine region.

The apartment has a private entrance, a large bedroom and bath, and generous living area. Complete with full kitchen, large sitting area, eating nook and private porch. Property features 10 beautiful country acres, just miles from several local wineries.

Bedroom has queen bed , twin bed and trundle.

Property is secure, private, has beautiful long views of forests, fields, hills and a picturesque pond.

We are about 10 minutes outside of west Eugene, and 25 minutes to the University, but right in the middle of a very popular bicycling, motorcycling, and wine tour route.

The apartment is spacious and private. Guests have their own parking, entrance and outdoor grilling and sitting area. Guests have often said how quiet and private the apartment is, and feels like it's a home away from home.

Families with kids really seem to love it here (especially when the weather is nice) - we have a treehouse, pond, creek, pigs and a variety of oddball things going on throughout the year (including 10 acres of Christmas lights).

So quiet and serene. A great place to stay while visiting Eugene. Close enough to the university and restaurants, but a world away in the serenity of the countryside. A very relaxing stay.

This place is absolutely awesome if you're looking for a country getaway that's still only minutes from Eugene. Jeff and Kate were awesome hosts and the property is a kids (and big kids!) wonderland.

Beautiful property

A lovely place to stay! Just an 18 minute drive to the University, but a nice oasis to relax away from the hustle and bustle. I’m so glad all the hotels were already booked for graduation, or I wouldn’t have found this place. :) Would definitely stay there again.

U of Oregon Family Weekend

Kate was a fantastic host - accessible to quickly answer questions, clearly communicated proactively, really helpful with a couple of things that came up for us during our stay. We will definitely keep this property on our short list of places to stay in the Eugene area.

This was our first time using VRBO and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. The apartment was cozy with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The grounds offered a beautiful, peaceful setting not too far from town. We highly recommend this listing as a place to stay during your visit to Eugene, Oregon.

Cute, clean, comfortable & quiet!

The apartment is very well kept. We felt perfectly at home. We were busy all day visiting U of O, going to basketball & football games so it was nice to stay in such a quiet, rural spot away from town. We especially enjoyed the tea, hot cider & cocoa packets.

Lovely rural stay

This is a very comfortable charming second story apt , well equipped for longer stays or shorter ones.Large rural property, close to several wineries, if that interests you, and nice country to drive around. We went to Florence and back through Reedsport, which is a gorgeous drive.Relatively easy way to get into Eugene proper.We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay, and hope to return.Kate is very responsive and easy to work with.

Quiet & beautiful with animal friends!

We loved staying here! The apartment was the perfect size for the 3 of us and was very clean. There were plenty of kitchen amenities, and a washer/dryer. We came to Eugene to run the Half Marathon, and it was so nice to get out of town back to a quiet, beautiful property after the race. We loved getting to pet and interact with all the animals (pigs, cats, and dog). All given instructions were clear and correct, and Kate was great with communication. We would absolutely stay here again!!

perfect solitude

we were in Eugene for a week of family reunion activities and Kates place was the perfect respite from our daily activities in town which is only 10 minutes away. everything we needed was there for us including some nice touches for our two small children. We will be back next time we are In Eugene.

Best place to stay in Eugene

Stayed at Kate’s place for 4 nights for visiting near by locations to Eugene About the host: Very approachable, quick in response and made us feel very comfortable. Kate and her husband shared a lot of information about the near by locations and recommended new places to explore. Thanks for sharing info about Silver Falls State Park, it was worth the visit. They also introduced us to their piglets and dog. Location: Great! Quiet with amazing views but at the same time close to city. Surrounding with lots of trees. About the place: Pleasant, very well maintained. Beautiful landscape, has a huge pond with lots of fishes. Has a tree house, play area, seesaw, swings, small but functional zip line for kids Family Friendly: Our 4yr daughter loved the place. Had lot of toys to keep her busy and loved her visit to their barn, playing in tree house and feeding the fishes.

November stay at Briggs Hill Rd., Eugene

We stayed almost a week at this beautiful property. As advertised it was about 8 or 9 miles out of town, which removed us from city noise, and sometimes it was a challenge to drive home there at night, especially in the dark with very heavy rains that were falling at the time. But the peace and quiet was worth it! Kate and Jeff were very attentive if we needed help and also allowed us our privacy. They had 10 acres with very cool trails through the woods and along the creek with ceramic gnomes and lots of real mushrooms. Very cool pond and kid's play areas also. Very clean property in a beautiful setting! Todd and Mary

Delightful oasis

Kate and Jeff are warm, friendly, helpful, and responsive hosts without being intrusive. I enjoyed the lovely accommodations and the beautiful surroundings as did my daughter, son-in-law and my baby granddaughter when they visited. Staying at Kate and Jeffs beautiful property was a pleasure! My 5 yr old Granddaughter loved the treehouse, zip line, swings, and feeding the Koi everyday at the pond. I loved the fresh fruit shared from their trees and the deer in the morning mist. We will be staying here next Granddaughter visit!

peace in the time of chaos

i took a stab in the dark when i booked a 3 day stay in this lovely apartment on 10 acres. little did i know that it would turn out to be EXACTLY what i needed! space to reconnect with nature and find solace, a glimpse of normalcy, during this most stressful time of COVID-19, unimaginable civil unrest, and economic uncertainty. hearing the laughter of children...appreciating the openness of the property while discovering endless, nooks and crannies to hang out in...napping, reading and writing...all that is good still exists! come here to be mellow! come here to hike some of the close-by trails, visit the numerous wineries, or drive to the coast. next time, that's what i plan on doing when i come back with my husband or a girlfriend!

Although the property is out in the country, we are smack in the middle of many local wineries, on a great bike and motor cycle tour route, and have all sorts of unique rural activities going on just minutes away.

Our property is private and secured, and offers lots of parking, which makes it ideal for those traveling with bikes, on motorcycles, or with trailers.
