Rum Cay offers a quiet alternative to the downtown area of Key West. This modern condo is located a short 10-minute ride away from the nightlife, shopping, restaurants, and attractions near world-famous Duval Street. Rum Cay is a condo offering spacious bedrooms, a common area with a large screen TV, a murphy bed, plus a dining area and updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

The condo is nestled on the edge of a nature preserve offering a quiet surrounding. There is a community pool, ample parking, and an elevator. Rum Cay offers a beautiful view of the estuary and views of the island and the water. 

The primary bedroom has a king bed, a large walk-in closet, and an updated bathroom offering a glass shower with rain showerhead. The primary bedroom has a flat screen TV and large dresser. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and flat screen TV. It has access to the second bathroom which is also accessible from the kitchen area.

The living room and kitchen area are spacious with vibrant colors. A comfortable leather couch and two chairs offers space to unwind after a busy day around the island. Extra guests can utilize the murphy bed that folds out with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. The living room offers a large flat screen TV and there are sliding glass doors out to your own private balcony with a table and seating for four people. The kitchen is a great use of space with a larger table and four chairs. Everything you need to cook a meal at home is available. 

Rum Cay is the perfect place for a family or for friends who want to enjoy the quieter side of Key West.

On the key but away from the hustle and bustle. Quick trip on a golf cart to see everything you want. Wonderful condo with everything you need for a great vacation.

I've stayed at this building b4 but never this unit, and this one is by far my favorite. I will be booking this unit every year. Loved the layout of the kitchen of this one, and the full bed in living room was nice bc it didn't take away the couch/ seating. Kids lived it.

If you like crowds, go to Mallory Square for the sunset. If not rent this property. Beautiful views from the balcony overlooking the mangroves. About a 25 Uber ride to Duval street.

"Quiet" spot when your goal is relaxing

The condo itself is very nice, clean, and comfortable. The beds and bathrooms are nice sized for 3-4 adults. The pool and neighborhood definitely trend a bit older, so this isn't a spring break spot, but was nice to have the option to have a more relaxing time. You are VERY close to the airport so if city noise bothers you, you will hear it. The property management company will allow you store bags with them if you arrive early or depart late, but the office is down on Duval street so another 20-25 minute drive/uber. All in all, for a family vacation would 10/10 recommend.

1st Key West Visit

We were very comfortable at the condo. The unit was clean and beautifully updated. We had everything we needed (kitchen, towels, beach chairs, etc.) The property was very well kept and the pool area was cleaned daily. The closets could use a few more hangers. It would be good to add a soft tab on the upper cabinet to the right of the microwave, so the door doesn’t hit the refrigerator. Thank you for sharing the condo, hope to return one day!
