This property met our needs for a large family. The house & property were wonderful. We did have a few issues with the hot tub but the property owner was excellent with communication and addressing the issues.
Property was as described and met all our needs, enough TP and dishwasher pods. The lakes were what we hoped for, boat traffic minimal, calm enough for kayaking. To have 2 kayaks at the house along with ours was great.Beautiful sunsets out those big windows. The neighborhood was quiet, we saw other people near us only once during the week. Goose fence at property edge was a bonus as they were constantly about (they are messy).
From the cabin, the view was very beautiful. We enjoyed boat ride and fishing a lot from the boat and on the dock.At the second night, we had a sever thunderstorm. That was very scary. We liked to use the outside grill and cook barbecue, however it was broken and we couldn't use it.
We enjoyed staying at your house. Our grandkids had never skated on a lake before and they thought it was cool. Enjoyed the hot tub and open kitchen and living room. We could all be together to play games. We brought in the New Year with a bang. Very relaxing!
My partner and I had a small window in our schedules to spend together and were thrilled to find such a wonderfull rental. The lake is fun to kayak with a lot to explore. The bathtub is deep and rejuvenating. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
It was a great place that we chose. Not many complaints. Weird neighbor people that showed up one time and said they were going to dump a ton of chemicals in the lake to kill the Lily Pads, not environmentally friendly. The house next door is up for sale and that is where it came from. I would suggest putting blinds in the two windows (Master and above room). I didn’t like the gravel, it tracks in and can dirty the rugs in the entry way. We found some pre-existing undergarments in the two bedrooms across from each other on the top level. Water bottles and other things. We left them there. The grill is a mess and myself owning 3 of them in different varieties, that are used all the time, I maintain and empty grease traps. The first time using the grill, it flamed up and I didn’t want to use it. After one little rain fall the grease trap filled up with water and leaked on the concrete below, I spent my own money to clean it better than we arrived. A grill cover is BENEFICIAL! The grill still needs to shop-vac’d out. I didn’t use the one on-site to clean it. Chlorine levels on the hot tub dyed everyone’s suits and the water level wasn’t where it should be. I filled the tub upon leaving to the expectant level. All in all, I would say the home, rates in the 9’s out of 10. We did fail to start the loaded dishwasher and forgot to take out the trash inside the kitchen only. We wanted to just make sure with 5 kids we didn’t miss anything. My apologies!

About the host
Hosted by Jace Rossow
My family and I currently live in the twin cities area but my wife and I grew in a small town in southern Minnesota. One thing we loved most growing up was going up north any time of year. To get away and enjoy the lake, sun, food, and family time in the summer and enjoy the magic of a snowy, cozy, sunset-watching in the hot tub atmosphere during the winter months. We decided to host so that we could share this experience with others as well!
Why they chose this property
Belle Isle is a secluded neighborhood and our property is on a point where the channel meets the lake, expanding 1.1 acres. It has great views!
What makes this property unique
It gives a lake luxury vibe :)
