Great Access : 2 blocks from bus routes, 10 blocks to MAX light rail. 6 blocks to Streetcar. Close to Broadway Bridge. 6 blocks to major freeway access: I-5 North & South, I-84 East.
Eliot neighborhood was originally built as the separate town of Albina in the late 1800s. It's one of the oldest neighborhoods in Portland, and is undergoing mixed revitalization. Workers used to take a ferry across the river to work in the city of Portland. Many helped build the seawall. Now, Eliot is one of the closest 'inner' neighborhoods in town. This is a great walking and biking neighborhood. It is home to great restaurants and coffee shops & event venues. Blocks from freeway access and downtown.
Moving to Portland?: This house is available as a short term rental.

Portland is surrounded by parks, and boasts the largest inner city park in the United States. Washington Park is just a 10 minute drive. Mt. Tabor is the only inner city volcano in the US, just a 15 minute drive.
Just 1-2 hours in any direction, and you'll find yourself at the coast, on the mountain or in the Columbia Gorge National scenic area. The Willamette Valley and wine country is also a short 1 - 2 hour drive. Visible mountains include Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens & Mt. Adams.
There is a long-term tenant in the apartment above the short-term rental.
