This renovated loft-style apartment is not a generic condo. It was thoughtfully designed as a stylish urban retreat featuring a private bedroom and an open-concept living, dining, and kitchenette area. Located on the ground floor of our historic 1906 building, the apartment offers modern comfort, artistic character, and soaring 15-foot ceilings.
The quiet apartment sits in the interior center of the building and does not have exterior windows. Instead, beautiful French doors open into our bright, art-filled gallery lobby. The space is warmly lit with multiple lighting sources and mirrors, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

You'll access the building through our beautiful art lobby, which serves as the shared entrance for the building. Your loft is located straight ahead from the lobby. We and our upstairs guests also use this entrance, but your space remains fully private.
The kitchenette has Stainless Steel worktable, Counter Top Toaster Oven, Counter Top Large Single Burner Hot Plate, Microwave, Under Counter Refrigerator, Electric Tea Kettle & Electric Coffee Maker.
The Bath is in Two Separate Rooms - 1st is Shower Room with a large mirror (and great water pressure) & 2nd is Toilet Room with a Hand Sink and a large mirror.
Exterior cameras are in the parking lot and outside the exterior door. Cameras are always on.

Hosted by Suzun Hughes
Suzun Hughes moved to Roanoke, VA in 2007 from San Francisco. Suzun is an artist and lives and works in the building. Suzun and her current Husband Daniel live in the building's second floor. She loves to cook, paint, photograph and practice and teach yoga. John was a sculptor who welded things from found objects. Art Hotels are all the rage now and we have created one – meaning that as artists we have included our original art - paintings, photographs, sculpture and art furniture - in the space we offer for short-term rental.

We pamper our guests with 100% linen bedding and comfy down in the Winter, fluffy towels and organic products, memory foam mattress and 100% linen sheets. The Private, Peaceful Bedroom has an Inviting and Restful Queen Bed, Great Lighting for reading in Bed and a view of the TV • The Living Room is a comfortable lounge area with a Flat screen TV which has local channels and Netflix. There are two comfy couches in the Living Room one of which is a very comfortable Queen Sofa Bed.
