This spacious 1,625-square-foot loft occupies a beautifully restored 1906 building in the heart of downtown Roanoke. Surrounded original art, and soaring 16-foot ceilings, it’s more than a place to sleep—it’s an experience. The loft combines historic character with contemporary comfort. The result is a private urban retreat with the feeling of an artist’s studio and gallery. This isn’t simply an apartment decorated with art. It’s part of an authentic working art environment. If you appreciate art, photography, architecture and creative spaces, you’ll find plenty to enjoy during your stay.

One of the loft’s greatest advantages is its location. You’re in the heart of downtown Roanoke, within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, bars, museums, parks, entertainment and the Historic Market. Amtrak is just one block away, making the loft particularly convenient if you’re arriving by train.

You can park your car when you arrive and spend much of your visit exploring downtown on foot

The apartment sits in the interior center of the building and does not have exterior windows and as a result it is extremely quiet. No Downtown noise. Guests frequently comment that they have had their best nights sleep here! Plus French doors open into our bright, art-filled gallery lobby. The space is warmly lit with multiple lighting sources and mirrors, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

This ground-floor loft apartment is completely private and self-contained.

You'll access the building through our beautiful art lobby, which serves as the shared entrance for the building. Your loft is located straight ahead from the lobby. We and our upstairs guests also use this entrance, but your space remains fully private.

The kitchenette has Stainless Steel worktable, Counter Top Toaster Oven, Counter Top Large Single Burner Hot Plate, Microwave, Refrigerator, Electric Tea Kettle & Electric Coffee Maker. Basics including coffee, tea, creamer plus oil and salt and pepper.

The Bath is in Two Separate Rooms - 1st is Shower Room with a large mirror (and great water pressure) & 2nd is Toilet Room with a Hand Sink and a large mirror.

Exterior cameras are in the parking lot and outside the exterior door. Cameras are always on.
