Relaxing home on top of Porters Mountain in the Blue Ridge. Bedrooms and full bathrooms on 1st and second floor. A retreat from everyday busy city life engulfed in nature and peace. Great for families, get togethers with old friends, and place to relax for events happening in the area. Great for groups up to 6. Four bedrooms available with 3 queen beds and two full size beds. Plenty of patio space to sit and enjoy the stars and grill outside. Close to local Roanoke universities and only 15 minutes to local shopping going into town. Pet friendly. If you have any questions just ask.

Hello. I'm from Virginia Beach, a Coast Guard military veteran, and active handyman that works on homes. Originally I shared a room for guests as a host and now I host entire completely renovated homes with a mid-century style I design myself. I love karaoke and playing music. All I ask is that you follow my house rules and take care of my home as I would yours. If you have any questions please ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

Why they chose this property

This home originally was a true ugly house and I completely transformed it. Just ask any neighbor on the street. I love the area for its convenience to the ATC, shopping, downtown Roanoke & Bedford, and quick commute on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. The home is on top of Porter's Mountain. The valley points to Otter Peaks Mountain. The front of the home faces towards Roanoke and sits in the Blue Ridge mountains.

What makes this property unique

It's right in the Blue Ridge mountains. It's very easy to get to by car during any season. The roads are always maintained. It's easily accessible of Hwy 460.
