About the host
Hosted by Debbie June
I am a new host member on VRBO, but I have been a guest favorite and a Superhost for 4 years on Airbnb. I’ve lived in Central Oregon for 28 years. I feel alive in the outdoors and enjoy running, holistic medical practices, gardening, yoga, and entertaining with friends and family. I’m honored to have the opportunity to host you, and I strive to make your stay as stressless and relaxing as possible. A home away from home. I have been in healthcare for over 30 years, and I have now been focusing on my cottage and its guests. The historical cottage is my magical place and has many upgrades for you to enjoy. It’s tailored for those guests seeking comfort and a stress-free experience. Minutes’ walk from downtown, in a serene setting that promotes relaxation, peace, and tranquility. Perfect for families and friends to enjoy and gather! I welcome you to experience the beauty of the cottage.
Thank you.

Why they chose this property
I feel like the cottage found me. I was searching for a property that captured all my senses. Walking through the gate, on rocks that led to the front door, I was excited to see what was behind it. I was immediately drawn into the cottage, appreciating the pine hardwood flooring, the stone fireplace, and the large white painted wood planks on the ceiling. So cozy and beautiful! There were wooden blinds on most of the windows. The living room was spacious, and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the main level. The living space opened up to the beautiful kitchen and dining room area. With a large chandelier above the oak dining room table. An abundance of light cascaded into the dining area from the southwest. As we walked toward the dining room French door, I was greeted by a large deck, a covered gazebo, and a huge backyard. At that moment, I knew this was going to be my new home. A home I could share with others to enjoy and create lasting memories.
What makes this property unique
My cottage stands out from the others because it is historical but has many modern touches. The beauty is sustained but with luxury and comfort throughout. The large backyard provides privacy and tranquility in a natural setting. The home and grounds are beautifully maintained. Abundance of outdoor seating to enjoy. Covered and uncovered sitting areas. Amenities galore. Large sleeping areas with comfy beds. Wet/dry private sauna and Whychus Creek flowing in the near distance. Everything you could want is within walking distance or a short drive Many Airbnb guests reviews suggest it is "the home away from home”, cozy, serene, peaceful! It’s definitely my magical place that I’m happy to share with you and your families. Thank you!
