Loved our stay here. The house was immaculate and located in a peaceful, quiet area, yet only minutes from shops and great places to eat. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Don's guest house is a rare find in the Lafayette /Orinda/ Walnut Creek area. I am a native who has lived away for decades and this place is the character of why the Bay Area was a great place to be from!

Quiet peaceful stay.

Don is a great host, very attentive but left us alone. The property is in a quiet neighborhood of Lafayette. You will need a car. Wonderful place for going on walks.

A Slice of Paradise

Our best VRBO experience by far! Host was very responsive, unit was well stocked to meet any needs, neighborhood and the backyard in particular with squirrels and birds and gardens provided a restful, tranquil setting for enjoyment and relaxation, including a pool. Peaceful home away from home

this is our second time at Donald's place. It is a perfect location for us when we visit family. Lovely area for walks and a short drive away from great restaurants and shopping options in downtown Lafayette. The place is very comfortable, about the only complaint I have is the lack of heat in the bedroom, especially felt this year because of the unusually long and wet winter.

This is my home. I hardly ever used the lower portion so I have had it professionally converted. It is a wonderful place to stay if you like quiet, a valley view and quick access to San Francisco.

Lots of natural light, tranquil views, large patio area for sitting out side, jump in the pool to cool off in the summer or sit in front of the outdoor gas fireplace.
