Rustic Luxury with hot tub and spa room! Large 4 bedroom 2 bath, Sleeps 12!

The Moose Times Lodge invites you to stay in our spacious and charming 2000 sq ft apartment in the quiet woods of South Anchorage. The Big Bear Den boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, including a luxury bath spa with heated 2-person tub & walk in shower. Beautiful large covered deck with all seasons hot tub room! Hot tub is private for the winter once the snow hits, but may be shared by reservation during summer months. Bear Den guests have priority access. By using the pull out couches we can comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests! Great for large families and school or business groups. We are in beautiful alpine forest setting of South Anchorage close to parks, hiking, ski trails, golf, and the Zoo. Please note this is a lower level apartment. Even with sound proofing between floors, you WILL hear some foot traffic from guests above. Persons sensitive to noise, please be advised.

The property and location is great! If the unit upstairs is also rented it can be a bit loud inside and out. (They have an outdoor hot tub and foot traffic can be heard inside)

Exceeded expectations!

First of all the house was stocked with everything you could need and more. Everything was very clean the outside property grounds provided you with a beautiful fire pit plenty of dry, split wood and even a horse in the adjoining property for the kids to pet. The layout of the home gave everyone enough privacy to have their own space while providing a common area where everyone could come together in a way that was not crowded. Did I say this place was well stocked because it was probably the most well stocked property I’ve stayed at. highly recommend.

Why they chose this property

South Anchorage is close to every thing but the noise. Easy access to airport, shopping and downtown, but quiet enough that the moose and even the occational bear feel safe in the front yard. The lodge is located on a quiet, private street with kind, respectful neighbors.

What makes this property unique

The Moose Times Lodge hosts three individual apartments that can be rented separately, or as a group, depending on availability. We travel quite a bit ourselves and have implemented all the little things that we look for on our travel. Our hope is that the lodge feels like your home away from home.
