The house was great, the host had excellent communication and was nearby if we needed anything. The backyard was excellent from the view to the pool and hot tub. We need to come back to enjoy the path behind the house that goes into a green area.
The hosts were very responsive and provided great information before we even arrived. Any questions we had during our stay were promptly answered. The house had great spaces for our family gathering, both in terms of living rooms for visiting and sleeping accommodations. And the views from the back yard and deck are really beautiful!
Our host was AMAZING! The location of the house was outstanding with a fantastic back yard. The whole house was comfortable, clean, and well maintained! We all agreed it was one of our favorite stays!
Such a beautiful home with an incredible outdoor space! Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. We also loved how close it was to hiking trails, and the neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful.
Amazing home! Well appointed and plenty of spots to relax, chat, chill, and recuperate! Thanks to great hosts, John and Jane! All the kids loved seeing your doggy too!
The Yellow House Sanctuary was perfect for our two-night family reunion. The home and yard are even more beautiful and accommodating than the photos depict. On one of the days, there were fifteen of us eating outside and enjoying the pool and jacuzzi while we visited. John was very helpful and prompt in answering my emails prior to our visit. We hope to do this again in the near future!
The hosts were very responsive, kind, and flexible. This home and property were beautifully maintained and very tranquil! If you are a nature lover wanting to be close to the suburban amenities, it doesn’t get better than this!
The house is great, well taken care of and setup. We had plenty of space and room for 8 people. You don’t feel at all like you are in a neighborhood in a city. The windows and very large deck facing the nature area provided a relaxing backdrop for our stay. The pool was perfect and it was a very short drive to the lake where we went paddle boarding. The hosts were very helpful and answered all our questions quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
My family enjoyed a wonderful family reunion at this oasis. We had the perfect environment to connect and enjoy each other's company. This home had everything we could need and then some. John was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. Our family enjoyed making memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, John!
I was staying there with a group that was participating in a tennis tournament.--a bunch of us in our 60s. The house itself was very comfortable with everything we needed Spacious living quarters. Back faces a beautiful canyon, and there is a nice pool and hot tub in back. We even grilled some steaks and fish on the gas grill in the yard. The host and hostess were quick to respond to any needs or questions.
This house absolutely amazing!! The location is fantastic, very close to everything and a very quiet nice neighborhood. The home is GORGEOUS and even better than the pictures. The beds were all so comfortable and the living areas were perfect for our group and very comfortable after a long day out on the trails. Communication with the hosts was easy and very helpful. One of the best homes we’ve stayed in! Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in the area!
I had to find a home where my mom, daughter and I could have our own privacy yet gather and have fun. The neighborhood was upscale and quiet with the views from the hot tub just as pictured. There was a mound of fruit and snacks left for us and the kitchen is fully stocked. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly. I am planning to stay here again in the future.
This property was perfect for our group of 10. We are a group of Restaurant and hospitality industry people. The home was stocked with mostly everything we needed. And the Hosts were more than accommodating to meet all our needs. There are many walking trails in the nature preserve behind the house and we all took advantage of the beautiful scenery along the way. We have already planned to return next year. Highly recommend!
Visited the Sacramento Valley this fall to attend my nieces wedding. We decided to stay in Folsom because we have a family friend that lives in that area. We had our adult children and my in-laws join us. The property was accommodating for our needs. Early October was still warm enough to use the pool and the hot tub was nice for the cooler evenings. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable.
We have family in the Sacramento area but no one had enough space to house everyone under one roof so we rented this house. It was important to have a pool for the littles, a place we could play games, and just be able to hangout. This place had it all. There was a place for all ages. In one room, the littles were able to watch their shows, in the other room we could watch more grown up shows and in the middle we set up a table and had a puzzle going. At night we played games at the dining room table. Others spent a lot of time on the deck out back or in the pool. We were able to take family pictures in the back yard which was very well maintained. This was the first time ever that my mother was able to have all of her grandchildren in one place at the same time and the baby grandchild is 26 years old! Jane and John (siblings) were very responsive to everything. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay at this house again!
