It was our first trip to Michigan. It is beautiful and lots of places to visit. The camper is nice cozy place to stay. Rebecca was very kind and friendly.
The trailer is cute, and the host is friendly. On the plus side, the bed is really comfy. The kitchen is well stocked for a tiny place. There is really easy access to Torch Lake, plenty of room for a dog to run, and the AC more than kept up with the rare 90 degree heat wave. On the downside, the refrigerator and bathroom both had a funky, off putting smell. Showers need to be really short and spaced out. There was no WiFi code or equipment in the trailer. To be fair, we didn’t text to ask for a code, so there may have been WiFi. It just wasn’t obvious. Also, be aware that there is an outhouse. It was clean and not smelly. An actual toilet seat in the outhouse would be a nice upgrade. Not sure that I would appreciate having to use an outhouse in bad weather, especially since the door is a shower curtain. Parking for a car is fine. Do not try to bring a boat trailer. Our hosts were friendly, and even though we were right next to their house, we felt we had plenty of privacy. Our dog loved it, and it met our needs for a last minute weekend trip to the lake.
