Our 1 bedroom 1000 Sqft penthouse will accommodate you very well with its King Size bed en-suites as well as walkouts to a 35 linear foot balcony with a 180 degree breathtaking view looking over the beautiful Riviera Maya ocean.

The living room is equipped with 55 in plasma screen furnished with high end quality furniture. Walk out on the beautifully fully furnished terrace with dining table and sofa set and rocking chair .

Dinning room and Kitchen with granite counter tops are fully equipped to have casual meals or elegant dinners.Kitchen is equipped with oven , coffee machine , toaster , coffee grinder, blender and as well as all glasses , cups , utensils , pots and pans.

The beach is very clean and private . Just a short swim into the ocean there lies the 2nd largest reef in the world to enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving.
If the beach isn't your thing you can always lounge around the quite pool at the villa with integrated Jacuzzi.

Comfortable condo, amazing pool, quiet vacation

I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a quiet beach vacation. This place overlooks the sea with a huge balcony and sliding glass doors in both the living and bed rooms. The property is well maintained with excellent staff. The pool is fantastic and steps away from the shore. Town is a short walk, drive, or taxi ride with dining and a full service grocery store.

Bright and airy, amazing view!

We enjoyed our stay in this newly renovated unit. Lots of light through all the windows and a good breeze kept us cool. The view is wonderful across the water and down to the pool area, and the large deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Arlene, the property manager, and the rest of the Caribbean Reef staff, were friendly and helpful. Thank you Anais and Mario for sharing this beautiful spot and we appreciate all the restaurant suggestions! We hope to return to CRV for a future stay.

Amazing Stay - Highly Recommend

Communication with the owner was very easy and very smooth. They had an on-site manager (Arlen) who greeted me when I got there with the keys. She showed me to my condo and was so sweet the remaining time I was there. Replied very quickly to any questions I had and ALWAYS got me what I needed. They came in to clean, changed out my water when I needed it, and all around they were so friendly and wonderful. It was just me who stayed but it could be a great spot for couples, for a girls weekend, or just for a little getaway. Would highly recommend - 5 stars all the way!!!

A Great Visit

The visit to Caribbean Reefs and Puerto Morelos was outstanding. Being a long time Mexico visitor (5 decades), I am always on the lookout for the "real deal"; so many have disappeared. The town, the villas and, most outstanding, the staff are the real deal. No complaints. Phone service is strong/Plan on using the phone lines for internet. Local internet providers are weak. Food in town is very good and not overpriced. Beautiful water and honest, trustworthy people.The location is very convenient to the Cancun airport, but PM is no big tourist resort, which is imperative for us. Do visit.

Nice Condo...but

Biggest problem we had was there were 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) to ascend. Five years ago it would not have been a problem, but at age 68, with a bad knee it would have been nice if there had been mention of this in the description of the condo so we could at least have been prepared. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the view incredible, and overall it was a very pleasant place to stay. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, and since we did much of our cooking, that made us happy. Snorkeling was impossible because of the huge influx of sargassum. Pool was very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

A lovely and peaceful location very near Puerto Morelos but take note...

The pool and outdoor areas were were superb. It's a short drive or bike ride to the shops and restaurants of Puerto Morelos. It is NOT a beach walk, however. This was very disappointing to me because I spend much of my time in PM walking the beach. If you go north toward the lighthouse, there is a pier that you cannot cross. Nor can you cut around. If you go south, you walk through a non-maintained section of beach that is filled with beach detritus and trash. If you are not a walker, the pool area is phenomenal and the small group of people who stayed in the complex were friendly. It felt very safe. The views from the penthouse unit are beautiful. Take note that the penthouse is up three stories of winding stairs. If you aren't in great condition, it is not for you. I had to contact the host about the internet and Anais was very prompt in solving my problem. (The instructions in the unit need to be updated - as does the map location on VRBO) I tried to call the property manager about the non-functioning stove and never heard back from her. We got by by using the microwave and a small toaster oven on the counter. In changing our drinking water bottle we found insects and a green film in the dispenser. The apartment was comfortable aside from the total lack of any side tables, inside or our, for drinks. The decor was not impressive or indicative of either Mexico or the ocean. Some parts of our stay were perfect and the others lacking for our own individual tastes and needs.

Nothing short of Beautiful!

A beautiful apartment, in a beautiful and well maintained complex. The private pool was clean and awesome to have. The view from the apartment was unbeatable! Waking up every morning to the sun rising over the ocean is something I will greatly miss. The property manager Arlene was very helpful and quick to assist in anything we needed. The single drawback is the distance from the downtown of Puerto Morelos, but if you don’t mind taking taxis, walking, or using the bikes provided then I would stop questioning and book immediately! Would definitely stay again.

Beachfront Oasis

This was our second stay here this year and it was as fabulous as the first! We knew what to expect and spent a very relaxing week in this beachfront, penthouse unit. Stunning view of the Caribbean provided great storm watching and bird watching opportunities! The pool is always clean and refreshing and very private (it felt like we had it to ourselves with very few residents/guests staying at the villas the week we were there). We loved the quiet location, just south of the port and 1.5km from town centre: an easy 20-25 min walk or $120-150 pesos cab ride. The unit itself has all the basics, the king bed is very comfortable and a new sofa was an appreciated improvement to the living room! Check in and check out was easy, uncomplicated and staff was always visible onsite (grounds, landscaping, security). Although we had minimal contact with the on-site property manager, Arlen, we knew she was just a text message away via WhatsApp.

Caribbean Breeze

We had a wonderful week-long stay in this beachfront condo. The views are as spectacular as pictured! Quiet, private location just a short 15 min walk from town. We appreciated the ease of booking and check-in. On site caretaker Arlene was friendly and eager to help. Condominium grounds are immaculately maintained - the staff work hard to keep gardens, common areas and the pool spotless. Pool area was hosed down everyday and there were lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. This penthouse unit was clean and had all the basics we needed. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable! Mid-week cleaning was an unexpected treat. The balcony had comfy, cushioned chairs and was a great spot to relax. Although it was available, we did not need AC; the ocean breeze (and sometimes the ceiling fans) was more than enough to keep us cool! We would stay again at Caribbean Reef Villas.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

To fit all I want to say I will make this a simple pro-con list. Cons (please note these had ZERO impact on our stay) We enjoyed purchasing our groceries from the local store (15 min walk or $120 pesos cab into Puerto Morelos). After our first dinner we made the mistake of not cleaning up immediately and noticed little "ants" that you find in all tropical areas on the counter. Problem was easily solved, clean up after cooking IMMEDIATELY, clean the counters and you never saw them again - simple. Livingroom furniture was not super comfortable for long periods of time - an hour or two max then it became uncomfortable. After 8-10 hours in the Mexican sun all day it's nice to chill and watch a show - honestly for $300CDN a night we did expect a little more comfort in the furniture. Third con was the pillows on the bed. They didn't really offer much support for sleeping on. For the price I think an upgrade is due as well. Lastly we have to mention the seaweed on the beach - however it was tough to consider this a con as we truly enjoyed watching the clean up crew from the villa using their new tractor to clean off the beach in front of the villa each morning. Having morning coffee in the sunshine on the patio, with the sun climbing in the sky, while watching was actually very entertaining for us - so Con for some Pro for others I suppose - if you get lemons :o) That's it for the Cons my friends - and as we said it had ZERO impact on our vacation whatsoever. Now the Pros: If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, warm, relaxing place to decompress from the daily stresses of life - book this place IMMEDIATELY - if we could we would go back tomorrow. We spent 8 of the best most relaxing days having cocktails and meals on the large patio overlooking the ocean, and in the infinity pool having drinks, reading poolside, and watching the boats and tours drive on by. Imagine all day long your view is warm Mexican sun shining on the rolling blue ocean - incredible. Side note - busiest day in the pool was 8 people - 4 were reading pool side!!! Each and every day flocks of birds would fly by while we sat on the patio close enough to almost touch - it was amazing. Arlene the property manager was so fantastic we can't say enough about her, period. Everything we needed she provided rides into town, supplies, knowledge and advice! Thank you - you're the best! Mario the property owner was wicked to deal with - thanks for having us - we will be back for sure!!!

Spectacular Beachfront Location

The condo balcony has a great ocean view and large sliding doors from both the living room and the bedroom. Ocean breezes through the open windows kept it cool without needing the ac. The condo was clean and great for two people with a very comfortable bed. The pool area and grounds of the building were vey nice and well maintained. You can walk both directions on the beach though a small container port blocks access to town from the beach. Having the bikes included with the condo was awesome. We used them every day for the short ride into Puerto Morelos. We really enjoyed walking around the town of Puerto Morelos. It had a great vibe with lots of good restaurants and shops. Communication with the owner was easy. Anais was quick to reply to questions. Arlene, the on-site manager, was friendly and very helpful. She helped us arrange taxis and get laundry sent out. She ensured that we had everything we needed in the condo. The Playa Jaguar restaurant next door to the Caribbean Reef Villas has a great atmosphere with ocean views and tasty food and drinks.

Lovely and relaxing

The photos are accurate - this is a lovely condo in what felt like a safe building/area. The furnishings are comfortable and cheerful, and the kitchen has everything you need. The best parts are (1) the large deck overlooking the ocean with comfortable furniture, and (2) sleeping with the sliders open (screen doors closed!) and listening to the ocean all night long. Bliss! We never needed or used the air conditioning. There were a couple of little things to fix - only one sink had a towel holder (the other was broken) and the shower curtain was down when we arrived. Small stuff, though. Also - due to construction, it was impossible to walk down the beach to town; we had to walk on the road. Not sure whether this will be permanent. Really enjoyed our stay all in all.

Great Stay

Place was great. Check in was easy, place was ready, clean and good to go upon our arrival. Pics are accurate to what is there. The bikes come in very handy as you are a km or 2 out of town centre. Pool and views are Great. all the comforts of home in the kitchen. Would recommend for a nice quiet stay.

Beautiful apartment on ocean

This is a beautiful place. The apartment is the top floor, I think it’s 4 flights of stairs up, did not see any elevator but the view is fabulous, apartment is clean and beautifully furnished. One must know you will need to go to town for all supplies and food. Drinking water is supplied. You need a car or taxi in which is easy to find. About 6-8 dollars each way. We were not able to stay the length of time we had reserved. The grounds are beautiful with a large pool overlooking the beach. It is big, be aware with small children it is 5 ft deep pretty much the whole pool and small ledges surround the deep in areas. Bring life jackets for little ones who do not know how to swim. It was a tad hard time when there because of the yearly association mtg so the place was full and there was little assistance from any manager on the grounds at this time. If being away from it all, cooking your meals or paying to go into town (we walked once, about 10-15 minutes), stairs not a problem then this is a good deal.

Perfection!

This property was amazing... views were incredible! We stayed 12 days, wish it was longer. Short bike ride into town, you can find everything you need. Property was well maintained, we spent most of our day at the pool, enjoying the views!

Views for miles!

The location was amazing. Quiet and close to town. The pool was wonderful and others staying in the Caribbean Reef were respectful and friendly. Groundskeepers keep the place looking good and cleared the seaweed about once a week. We will definitely return.

A Fabulous home with a Stunning view!

On our honeymoon here, we were amazed with the location. We were looking for tranquility and found it with beauty as well! Our stay here was an amazing experience and are excited to come back. Everything we needed was nearby and easy to travel to. Puerto Morelos is by far like no other place along the Riviera Maya. Humble!

Paradise for sure!

Puerto Morelos was a delightful destination and our condo at Caribbean Reef Villas was also delightful, relaxing and beautiful. The condo was just as the pictures showed and was very clean. Also, there was one cleaning part way through the week (we stayed from mid-week to mid-week.) The ocean breezes were refreshing - we never had to use the AC all week long. There were many things to do in PM and many great restaurants. We are already planning our next trip to PM so we can enjoy all the food and activities that we could not fit in this trip.

Beautiful view from a very comfortable balcony

This condo was nice,we stayed 10 days . The view is beautiful and very private since you are up on the 4th floor. All the furniture was very comfortable . Kitchen had most appliances that you would need. The beach in front is very nice when it's clear and not windy. The pool is the best ! Would have liked a grill to use and it may be time to update some things in the condo. Overall it is close to town and the 2 bikes provided were great!

Perfect

Your search for the perfect room is over. Just do yourself a favor and stay here. I will be be coming back for sure. The place was clean and quiet with gorgeous views, amazing pool/beach. 5 minutes on the provided bicycles and you are smack in the middle of town. Riding around on the bikes was our favorite part!

Lovely condo. Relaxing, quiet.

We just finished a wonderful week here at this condo. It was clean, convenient, close to town. The staff was there to welcome us, showed us the condo and everything in it. Showed us around the property. The pool was excellent, right on the ocean. The view is what this condo is all about. The ocean breezes were plentiful, no need for the air conditioning. The condo is well equipped. Full kitchen, towels, snorkel equipment. The TV only works for Netflix and DVDs, however, this was not a problem for us as we wanted peace and quiet. The internet signal is great and works throughout the complex. The condo is close to town where there are shops and restaurants. Also very close to the airport. My only complaints are that the coffee maker is tiny and the beach is not very accessible to swim. It is rocky and it was very rough (could have been the time of year as we found this all the way down the coast). We highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

I bought this property for many reasons , I love everything about Puerto Morelos, being situated just between Cancun and Playa delcarmen and just 20 away from the airport is really awesome . I feel im in the middle of all the action but yet when i come home it is so peaceful since this the Caribbean Reef is like an oasis of tranquility , but one of the main reason for choosing this place on the Riviera Maya was the breathtaking view. I have travelled around the world and have always rented on the ocean and i must say when i saw the view of this Penthouse I knew i had found "Paradise on Earth".
I am positive you will agree.
