This comfortable houseboat, moored permanently on the quiet port of Bellegarde at the gates to the Camargue Region is available to rent.
An exclusive rental of the houseboat features 2 or 3 comfortable en suite bedrooms depending on your requirements, a comfortable lounge and a large deck perfect for relaxing and dining as well as access to a fully equipped modern kitchen.
Everything has been thought of to make your stay a pleasant one - aircon, tea & coffee making facilities, television & a small pool are all included to make you feel at home.
In addition bike hire is available as well as well being treatments for an additional cost.
Bus services are available from Bellegarde to Arles and Nimes where train links are easy and often. Bellegarde is around 1.5km away - perfect for cycling or a longer but flat , pleasant walk.
The houseboat has a great location for those with a car to include easy access to the Mediterranean coast and it's beautiful beaches. Parking is available right next to the houseboat.
Finally, Nimes airport is located just 15k from the property.
The Owners live onboard in separate accommodation and are available should you have any questions or need any information.

A couple originally from around the Alps we bought ' Farniente ' around 4 years ago and are now delighted to welcome guests to enjoy the houseboat.
Why they chose this property
We love the location of 'Farniente' - the location is ideal for visiting amazing places and the Camargue. The harbor is peaceful and invites relaxation between the canal and the countryside. Living on the water is an incredible experience.
What makes this property unique
Staying on our houseboat is a truly unique experience. The property is well equipped—everything has been carefully thought out. Breakfasts can be served on request for an additional €10 per person (homemade jams, fresh bread, pastries or homemade brioche, fruit juice, yogurt), making the stay even more special, or you can prepare your own using the available kitchen.
