This was a great rental. The beach is across the street!! The hous is down the road from the "action", so its a quiet neighborhood. However, a quick drive or beach trolley ride and you are where all the action is, with food, drink, ice cream and shopping. Publix is real close for quick pick up of items. The downstairs suite was perfect for us! The beds were great! The pool was great and we used it daily. The view of the ocean was amazing. It was so nice having breakfast and dinner while watching the ocean. A couple of things: the landscaping needs some work (weeds were high), the hamock is a nice touch but is older and sun worn so tough to use, microwave knob is broken but it works, we didnt get the code to get in initially but the sliding glass door was broken and so we were able to get in. The other side does lock and a pole keeps it secure (it just must have been forgotten by housekeeping). We were allowed to come an hour early so that was great. I only share these things for transparency. It is a pricy home so these things may matter ro others. However, none of the things needing attention were a big deal for us. All of us had a great time. The kids had plenty of space. And we would would stay again if we visit the Fort Myers area. Lovely home overall with lots of needed items provided, lots of beach items provided, clean, great beds, comfy couches, excellent view and ocean access.
