Salty Pause: Dog-Friendly Townhome 3 Blocks from the Beach!

Bring your whole family, including your precious pooch, to the beautiful New Jersey shore for a fun vacation! Nicely decorated/recently renovated 4 bedroom, 2 full bath townhome just three blocks from the beach and one block from tennis, basketball and a playground. The house is located near the west end of 40th Street, near 4th Avenue.

The first floor has three bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with 2 twin beds, one with 2 queen beds ) and 1 full bathroom with a double vanity and shower. The second floor has the Primary bedroom (king bed), 1 full bathroom with shower, fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and living room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace, TV, sectional sofa and 2 dining tables. Sliding doors open to a deck with a dining table and 10 chairs. All bedrooms have TVs. The yard is fully fenced. The backyard has a nice outdoor shower and a large deck with 4 lounge chairs, 5 Acapulco chairs and a gas grill.

This house is dog-friendly. Although the house is thoroughly cleaned between renters, if you or your family members have pet allergies, you should consider another house.

Rental includes 8 seasonal beach tags and 10 bikes for use during stay. You rental also includes all linens (bedding, kitchen, bath and beach towels) paper towels and toilet paper.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Pet hair should be removed from furniture. If excessive cleaning is required, an additional cleaning fee could result and will be deducted from your security deposit.
Return beach chairs to the storage container outside the front door. Return bikes/beach games to shed and lock shed.
Leave all keys inside the property hanging on the hook near the door. Return the 8 beach tags to the pouch by the front door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This is a great property! The description is accurate and there is lots of seating for the family to hang out. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a drip coffee maker, not a Keurig. Although there are no shops or stores within a few blocks, you can bike to Avalon. Stone Harbor is a long bike ride or a drive. If you are mainly going for the beach, it is only a few blocks and the shed is stocked with lots of chairs and games. Overall it was a great rental and recommended!

Great family get away

Fabulous property! Had everything we needed and more. The kids enjoyed playing the games provided and riding the bikes into town and to the beach. Close enough to town but far away enough to have some solitude. Would not know that this property allowed dogs because the house was very clean and no dog smell was present. Would definitely come back.

It is hard to find a nicely decorated, clean and comfortable house at the shore where you can bring your 4-legged family member. Our house is close to the beach, playground, and everything Avalon has to offer (restaurants, mini-golf, ice cream, shops, grocery, tennis, etc.).
