Large great room with fully equipped gourmet kitchen, wood burning stone fireplace, very comfortable first quality furnishings, smart HDTV, and high speed new Fiber WIFI. Two romantic bedrooms and two beautiful bathrooms. The two bedrooms and baths are on opposite ends of cabin from each other for privacy. Designer linens, spa robes, comfort and care all put together to provide you a special experience here in the mountains at MoonDance! Convenient location just outside the quaint mountain town of Hot Springs and the Hot Springs Spa. Five minutes to the Appalachian Trail. White water rafting and tubing right at your doorstep! We had everything we needed and then some for our stay. The photos do not dissapoint. Soo many little extras to make out stay comfortable. Limens, large towels, and bathrobes. The hotub was waiting, and perfect. Popcorn and cookies on the counter. Beautiful decor. Very cozy, yet spacious. Grill, grounds, and cabin very well maintained.

We loved everything about Moondance and the sweet little town of Hot Springs! The cabin was super clean and spacious. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms roomy, and the living space comfortably accommodated the 4 of us. We loved the quietness of the backyard in the hammock and around the fire pit. The river is across the street and the view was breathtaking. You have to eat breakfast at the Smokey Mtn Diner…holy cow it was good! Have a beer at the local breweries and restaurants, you can’t go wrong! Listen to the stories of the locals and how they persevered after the hurricane…it’s truly amazing. We can’t wait to go back, everything about the weekend was beautiful!

So far this was the best place we have stayed in Hot Spring. We love Hot Springs and every host/ home has been great but this one was the best over all. The house had everything and was well kept. Loved not having to go and buy firewood! Just a beautiful place. Will stay again.

This is one of the few VRBOs I've stayed at where the pictures perhaps undersold the beauty of the inside. The cabin is expertly decorated - the sort of mountain chic that is on theme without being tacky.Other touches reminded me of how rentals were 5 years ago: knives that cut food, beautiful plates, and a spice cabinet with 2-3 essentials in case you forgot to bring your own. The cleanup instructions are simple and straightforward - what you expect when being charged a cleaning fee, unlike some other rentals.The location requires crossing a quiet road to get to the river, but has a picnic table on that side. It's not walking distance to downtown, but is an extremely easy pedal if you happen to be visiting for the amazing cycling opportunities in Hot Springs.In short, I expect to be back the next chance I get. Thank you!

Five star rating is five star rating. From reservation to check out cannot think of any changes to ask for. Host was very accommodating. Attention to detail: the gas grill had even been cleaned and bottom had new aluminum foil to aid next cleaning.

MoonDance River Cabin was everything we hoped and more! The cabin has a great floor plan, is very comfortable, and is tastefully decorated. Another important feature is that the home was spotless - one of the cleanest properties we have visited! We also enjoyed the outdoor amenities the property offers. We spent time fishing right across the street and enjoyed relaxing on the porch. The owners are great communicators and go above and beyond for their guests. We hope to visit again in the future!

Why they chose this property

The location is so special by the French Broad River. It is just outside the town of Hot Springs, in a tranquil, quiet setting. It gives a great place to relax and enjoy the river, woods and trails. Come back to the cabin and sit back in the hot tub on the private covered porch and take in the beauty of the mountains! You can be to restaurants and shops in less than 5 minutes. The Hot Springs Spa is close by also where you soak in the amazing natural mineral water and have a massage. A great place to ride your bike, fish or boat. Our desire is to create a quality cabin which reflects all the charm and style of the mountains combined with the comforts and amenities to make your vacation enjoyable and a special experience.

What makes this property unique

Unique riverfront location. Just outside the town of Hot Springs with the National Forest, Appalachian Trail, white water rafting, horse back riding, whitewater rafting, kayaking, biking, fishing, etc. all at your doorstep.
